I got a used petunia pickle bottom city carryall on fb! They have a page where ladies sell their new and gently used ppb items! I couldn't see myself spending almost $200 for a diaper bag!
I got a Petunia Picklebottom Abundance Boxy Backpack during the outlet sale for half off. It's freakin' huge. Lol. I'm an overpacker. I'm sure we will need the space.
Any chance you know about when they do the outlet sales? I'm signed up for the emails but I'm so antsy and afraid I'm going to miss it! I really want one of the boxy backpacks!
I follow them on Instagram and they had one in January. The description said it was flawed, but I haven't found the flaw yet. I think they have one each season, so definitely keep an eye out for one this spring!
I am SO happy I am not the only one who thinks a Winnie the Pooh diaper bag is not acceptable!!! My husband thinks I am just being picky!!!!
Now on to diaper bag suggestions... I purchased 2. I have a striped Skip Hop bag and love it! It will be great for summer, has lots of room, and wipes clean easily. I also purchased a Coach "Peyton" diaper bag... I had been obsessing over this bag for months but could not bring myself to pay full price. I finally scored an awesome deal on a nearly new one. It is gorgeous and I think this will be my everyday bag. Also I have some oversized bags that I believe I could use as diaper bags and for any mama that does not want to carry a bag that screams "diaper bag" this would be a great option. Good luck with your search!
I'm kind of torn on this. I like having nice accessories for myself, but considering the purpose of this particular bag... I feel Iike it may be best just to go with something cheap and easily replaced, if need be. I think I'll just get a basic black plastic-y bag. FTM, so not sure what I'll think when this becomes reality.
I have had everything from the walmart diaper bags (no not the horrid Winnie the Pooh ones!) to a coach diaper bag. I will say the coach has got serious longevity. I bought that one with my 3rd kiddo, my only DD. And she's 6 yrs old now and it's her overnight bag. That thing still looks brand new and is awesome. But oh the price tag. With #4 I bought a JJ Cole. It's got tons of pockets and space. And I loved the stroller straps that came with it. But I couldn't use it as well when babywearing. So for #5 I got a juju be that can be used like a back pack or like a regular bag. And it's gorgeous.
I have a Skip Hop one that DH likes cause it's still manly for when he has to carry it- and then I scored a really cute one that didnt scream diaperbag at the Kate Spade surprise sale online.. $70 instead of $325 (cause I couldnt justify the $325 to myself when we still had a whole nursery to do)... I really like them both and I particularly like that the Kate Spade one doesnt read as a diaper bag but still has TONS of compartments

Can I just add to this thread for one second? I have a Michael Kors bag that my friend got me as a gift I was just going to use since it's got plenty of space and pockets...but my bf is not going to be walking around with a MK bag. His birthday is coming up and I thought as part of his gift I'd get him a dad diaper bag. Does anyone have any good suggestions for ones for men? Sorry if I missed anyone's suggestions I haven't read all the comments yet
I bought a green Skip Hop messenger style bag. If for some reason I need more stuff than that can hold for an outing, I'll just use a backpack I already own.
We just bought a red and grey Columbia diaper bag from babies r us. It has two hot/cold pouches on the sides. It has a lot of room for those who at times over pack or just like to be prepared for anything.
UO: I hate this thread way more than the weight thread. But I admire y'all's commitment to the topic, so will just say I was glad to inherit a bag from my SIL and not to even have to give it a thought.
*sheepishly raises hand* Its a thing among moms in my community...who's got designer(kate spade tory birch vs micheal kors vs skip hop) who doesn't. It shouldnt matter but it kind of does. Its kind of like... i dont like it but i also want to be part of my local community
Yeah I realize it's one of those things that don't matter in the grand scheme but I figure I'll need more than one bag anyway so may as well make sure one is a decently constructed one and the rest of the time I'll shove stuff into whatever bag is around.
I just buy the bag I personally love the most. I have always had a handbag obsession and now it's a diaper bag one! Lol! I have three different ones for now and I don't feel one bit bad about it. It's my guilty splurge!
I just received my Skip Hop today in the mail and I love it! It's much bigger than it appeared online and the color is perfect. Thank you ladies for your advice and opinions, this FTM is very happy and excited to use it when little miss arrives!
For those who got Petunia bags i really want one and since they are 60% off I think I'm gonna order one but dk between the backpack or the carry all?! Help!!
I bought a Vera Bradley diaper bag it was little expensive but it has a changing pad that rolls off the side and can snap off. And you can launder it. I absolutely love it. My sister in law swears by hers.
i just got a diaper bag backpack at our baby shower. My husband and I are excited because he doesn't feel like its so "diaper bag-ish". It also help with day events like amusement parks etc.
Re: need help deciding on a diaper bag
