Just FYI- I found Kohls has plus size maternity clothing online (Motherhood Maternity,I didn't find any in the store) I just ordered jeans..capris..shorts..and yoga pants! I didn't see to many plus size tops online but at least I got my bottom half covered!! Also with my 30% off coupon I saved over 100 bucks! Couldn't beat that price!
What brand of maternity jeans or pants are yall buying? I am currently in Macys and the selection is slim to none! And even the xl are small like I can get them to my thighs and that's it. I'm usually a size 20 give or take.
I just had great success at motherhood maternity. I'm a size 16 and was most comfy in the 1x even though I got the XL. I got all my shirts in XL.
Love seeing everyone's bumps! I can't wait to get one but currently just look like iv put weight on I'm 13 weeks 3 days and a size 22. We will perhaps all regret this in a few months when it's summer and feel uncomfortable :P
Everyone keeps talking about summer maxi dresses. I'm nervous that the material on the REST of my body (outside of the bump) might look terrible. Guess I better get toning these legs and arms now.
I live in leggings and my old fat dresses. At one point I lost almost 80 lbs. I gained 15 of it back eating well over the summer. Then BAM I'm pregnant. Pre-pregnancy I was a 14/16 I gained 20 lbs by the end of my 1st trimester. So now I'm a 16/18 and I've been maintaining that. I love Motherhood Maternity leggings. I wear an XL and I feel I have room to grow especially with my bump. I also like how it's a full panel. Some of the leggings are a little thin.
Can't wait to start looking for summer desses. Some of my longer dresses I'll be able to wear, but I need to get short dresses. I used to work at JCrew and they had this one multi-wear dress. I hope they come out with it again as it was UBER comfy and in lots of cool colors. I regret donating them now.
What about shoes? I've heard Tom's are amazing. I bought shoes at Kohl's with better insoles as my back was killing me.
Does anyone else have a very distinct and weird upper and lower belly thing going on? I'm so upset that my belly will never be an actual round baby belly and stay this awkward divided double stomach thing.

I think I know what your talking about and I do a little bit. I bought my first maternity jeans yesterday and it really rounded it out. Made me feel much better.
Old navy has plus size maternity clothing too. The tank tops are wonderful and will really help out for the summer when we are all going to be complaining how hot and Prego we are lol. Size 26 and finding this that work so there is hope!
LOVE this thread! Usually I don't even post to anything but this is the support I needed! I am a size 16/18 and I think I have a bump but I keep wondering if others will know it's a bump or just fat lol I agree that maternity jeans help a lot! I have some skinny jeans (they fit like jeggings - sooo comfy) that I got at Target maternity and they have a high band that is really comfortable! Also wearing tops with a belt at the waist or maternity tops with the stretchy sides make me feel like I look more pregnant. Anyone out there having luck finding a maternity swimsuit??? Being a bigger size and having huge boobs has been my issue...looking for a swimsuit for the summer that provides full converge for the "girls"!! Wonderful to meet this group! Hugs to all you mommas!! 16w FTM
Oh this may be off topic a little bit but who can feel their uterus? I have no idea what I'm feeling for.
This is me. I'm constantly poking my belly, looking for...something, haha. I don't know, I'm hoping it'll just be really obvious at some point. I'm a size 12 and I'm not showing at all, but I THINK my pelvic area is maybe starting to feel more firm? I'm hoping that that's me feeling my uterus and the beginning of a bump growth spurt. I just want to look pregnant, already! Gah!

So happy to see this. I am a size 16/18 with baby #2. I am 35lbs heavier now then I was with #1. 15 weeks and I can notice a bump. Full belly maternity jeans help to shape for sure. I need to buy a swim suit to go swimming with my daughter and I'm dreading it.
I've been wondering the exact same thing! I'm 14 weeks 4 days & my partner said to me are you getting a baby bump yet and I'm like I don't know because I'm not slim! Lol I'm a size 18 and I feel like my belly has started to show a bit more at the top and my breasts are growing. I can tell a bump is coming because i can't breathe in anymore lol but I have a few friends around the same size who now have a proper bump but they didn't really start to show til 5/6 months so I'm hoping I will be the same. I haven't bought any maternity clothes yet but I am paranoid people just think I'm fat with a growing belly lol xx

I poke my belly all day long lol. I drive myself crazy with, "I think it's getting harder!" Lol I'll ask my doctor to point it out at my next appointment. I don't know if it's supposed to feel wide or if it feels like a ball. I have no idea lol. I want a big ol baby bump!
hannah518 I didn't find a maternity swimsuit, but I have very large breasts (40H!) and I got a swimsuit at LaneBryant. It's really supportive and gives me a little oomph while not being super tight around my middle so I can grow this summer and still wear it. It's a black one piece (I don't like showing my belly) but they also have 2 pieces and high waist bikini styles you can try.

Ask your Dr at next visit. At my last visit she showed me.I thought it was pretty cool. She's like ' oh you must feel your uterus getting hard' and I was like ummm nope lol .So she showed me.Your uterus will feel hard mine was way above pubic bone (measuring big).If you feel above uterus its squishy.Say your about 15 weeks measure two three finger tips above pubic bone press down should feel hard if in right spot. Then press six-seven up should feel squishy .You should feel the difference.Hope that helps if not ask Dr they can show you.
@cissce1313 -- thanks for the info about the tank tops! Mine are driving me crazy! I always wear a tank top like an undershirt and they literally keep rolling up! So frustrating! I don't understand how some people go through pregnancies without buying maternity clothes. Thanks also to @myspecialkid .... I've been rocking my leggings as much as possible, but even those are getting uncomfortable because of where they're siting on my now even bigger belly!!
Guess I'm going to have to succumb and buy some stuff. Yes, please share info on bathing suits! Im nervous to shop for shirts... and don't want to spend much now because for the majority of the third trimester it will be hot, hot, hot!!
Love this post! I'm a size 14 and this is my first bump pic at 17 weeks. Maternity clothes definitely help round it out but I still feel like I'm in that awkward fat or pregnant stage.
thank you @surprisepkg31 ! I popped overnight it feels like. I haven't gained weight in 2 weeks but all of a sudden my clothes are super tight. Looking forward now to a growing bump!

Thank you! I think I feel it but I'll ask my doctor today to be sure.
I took this yesterday....not my most flattering, but I am so happy and although I am a short nugget, I feel beautiful. I am a size 12-14 and I love me some maternity jeans. While I think it is important to be healthy, I always had issues with my weight. If I have a little girl, I don't want her hearing negative body talk from me. I am embracing this. I hope all of you are feeling beautiful and loving this gift
That "belly fat" finally is a bump lol I've always had a bigger stomach but now it's clearly a baby haha 21 weeks! 19 to go! (I think less though, he's huge already lol)
I'm normally a size 16, and my belly is just starting to pop. It still folds when I sit down I can't wait until I'm nice and round, and don't feel chubby, just preggy.
I'm due oct 1st but may have a September baby so I've been lurking. So glad to see this group of ladies makes me feel not so alone. Here's my baby bump at 19 weeks starting to finally round out. I was a size 16 pre-pregnancy
Re: Bigger ladies and their bumps!
Edit: I'm 13wks 4 days
I'm 13 weeks 3 days and a size 22.
