Biggest Loser/ Healthy Living Check-in 3/23/15

I think next week is supposed to be our last week of the biggest loser so I'll just change this to healthy living check in...

BFP #1 7/21/2013--EDD 3/30/14--D&C 9/24/13
BFP #2 1/28/14--MC 2/7/14

IUI #1 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
IUI #2 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
IUI #3 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
IVF #1, Stimmed for 12 days, ER 8/22/14, 9 retrieved, 7M, 7F!!  Freeze all due to fluid in uterus.
FET end of October 2014 cancelled due to fluid in uterus due to possible c-scar defect
Surgery scheduled 12/12/14 to fix possible isthmocele
3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
MOVING TO ADOPTION!

    I definitely did not do as well with exercise and eating as I did the week before :(  St. Patty's Day and DH's birthday celebration threw me off :(
    2. Something you are proud of.

    Through all of my FET prep I am still trying to exercise as much as possible and eat right!  It's been super hard but I'm doing it!

    3. Your plan.
    I'm going to go to group training on Tuesday at the gym but then stick to walking and elliptical after my FET on Thursday.

  • Blah. I am not even going to weigh myself this week. I have been terrible the past few weeks. Food wise, I am fine, but I have been doing nothing extra to try to lose weight. I need to get my ass in the gym. We shall see if I can get myself back on track this week.

    Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
    #11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
    1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh
  • 1. I need to work on maintaining the levelnof commitment I've shown to my health the last 3 days!

    2. Proud of the last few days. I dusted off the gym shoes and Jawbone. I played a soccer game Saturday and went to the gym Sunday and today. I only did 1/2 hour on the elliptical and some very small dumb bells, but it's better than sitting on my rear at home! I'm doing ok with food right now, too- eating too much junk after work is usually where I fall apart but I came home hungry for veggies so we started making dinner right away.

    3. Plan is to keep working on "me." I've spent so long TTC and obsessed with having a second baby that even my healthy choices were based on the idea that it would help me get pregnant. I think it was exhausting me. I'm not doing that anymore. I want to feel good and my healthy food and gym choices are for me and the sweet little boy I DO have. DH can benefit, too. :) I feel free for the first time in several years and I LOVE it. I will not be a slave to IF anymore.

  • Hi I am new to this group, but I am currently also trying to loose weight.  I have an IVF consult coming up in early June and I am trying to drop some weight.  I have lost 15 lbs since Janyary 12th, and my goal is to be a healthy weight by loosing another 25.  I love this check in as it hopefully will help keep me motivated and accountable.  

    1. Something you need to work on-  I need to work on my eating on the weekends.  I just tend to fly off the handle at least one weekend day.  Also, I should probably cut back on weekend wine. :) 
    2. Something you are proud of-  I am proud I have lost 15 lbs in 2.5 months.  I just need to keep it going! 
    3. Your plan-  I have been using My Fitness Pal and going to the gym when I can get away.  I am trying to get more consistant with it and have gone twice this week and will probably go tomorrow.

    IUI #6 -Follitism IUI cycle converted to IVF and back to IUI-4 mature, 3 maybe mature = BFP!!   DS Born 9/2014

    IVF #1 9/15 Antagonist- 19 R 1F (Frozen day 1 @ 2PN stage) Diagnosed with SER aggregates in 13/19 eggs after failed fertilization
    IVF #2 11/15 Antagonist w/ICSI  (Higher stims & Letrosole added last minute on stim day 7)- 39R, 24M (20/24 SER free), 15F (14/15 SER free & all frozen @ 2PN stage) 
    FET#1 Cultured all 16- 2pn embryos to day 5- transferred 1 good hatching blast and 1 early blast on 1/28- None to freeze - beta 2/5
