adding blueberries to muffins

Thinking of adding fresh blueberries to a banana bread/muffin mix. Will they get soggy if I use too many and will they freeze well?

It shouldn't get soggy, but blueberries will sink to the bottom.  To avoid that, toss them in flour (or powdered sugar) before adding them into the batter.

No they don't get to soggy but it might happen that the dough around will turn slightly blue.

If using fresh blueberries, dust them lightly with flour; this helps prevent the blueberries from "bleeding" into the muffins.
