brown spots... ugh

Sooooo I had discovered yeaterday that I have brown spots forming on my nose. They look like huge freckles.
I googled.and of course its caused by raging hormones! Best thing is they wont dissssapear until after baby is born.. anyone else have spots that just decided to throw a party on your face?

Re: brown spots... ugh

  • I'm covered in freckles anyway, but a few days ago they started merging together and becoming superfreckles! I'm not bothered by them but won't my hormones leave some part of me alone? :|

  • I bet you are both adorable with your spots and super freckles!! If you are trying to control them, I did read to stay out of the sun. Get a cute hat or slather on the SPF:) I have always been freckle faced, so I am a fan of spotty skin
  • i live in hawaii so staying out of the sun is very hard
  • I don't have spots but with my first I grow a lot of small skin tags. Praying it doesn't happen this time around.
  • I have brown spots too :( but they're only on my hands luckily
  • I had this with my DD, had them around both of my eyes almost like a mask. I hated them bc people would ask me if my face was bruised. With time after I had DD, they did go away. I did not get them with DS. Now that I'm having DD2, I'm praying I don't get them again. They made me so self-conscious.

I have had this SINCE my daughter! I hate it I feel like my face is dirty. I breastfed for 16 months after so I had them still and they started to fade. Be careful about the sun though! I know it's hormonal but mine would get darker! By the time I went to the dermatologist I was pregnant again haha

The word superfreckels made me smile.

I have the opposite problem on my tummy. I have one vitiligo spot on my belly that will grow (vitiligo is when your skin loses pigment and turns white. ) it will be a supermassive vitiligo spot in a few months.
  • I don't have brown spots- but a patch of extremely dry skin under my eye so it makes it look bruised- it's embarrassing. I am having to find stronger moisturizers my skin is very dry - prior to pregnancy I had oily/ dry skin.
  • Not to scare you, but With my second pregnancy I got this lighter pigment spot above one eye and my doctors said it would go away after the baby. It never went away. My daughter is 3.
