I can't stand it when people use baby talk with their kids and teach then improper English. Like teaching a child to say tatoes instead of potatoes it just drives me nuts.
Ok here's another one... I don't understand putting shoes on little babies just because it's "cute"... Yes little shoes are cute but they cannot be comfy to a baby and they sure aren't walking and in need of them!!
Also I hate the giant bows on tiny infant girls heads. Just looks like a ridiculous oversized blob on this sweet little head.
Adam Levine. I just don't find him attractive at all. And his voice is annoying. He just doesn't do it for me.
Amen! I don't get it at all. My cat can sing better than him.
My UO, also related to music: I hate Sam Smith. His whiny voice, the way his face looks, his clothes, probably even his mom. Can't stand him and I hope his fame is short-lived.
Oh, and another one.....I absolutely HATE chevron!! The pattern makes me downright angry! I've been saying for years it's a trend that will disappear soon but there's no end in sight! And it's all over baby girl stuff! So frustrating!
The funny part is, my baby shower invitations have chevron background. My friend who is hosting it asked for my input but we couldn't find any good ones without chevron so we had to pick the least offensively hideous one.
UO- I hate people asking me day after day what I am going to name my child. It's none of your business and we don't have a name yet. I get really mad and want to tell them to back the f off- I know they don't mean to be rude but it's presumptive that we have a name and also that if we were to have one picked out that we would want to share it with everyone. I'm going to have to make up a ridiculous fake name to tell people- like Princess Spamella.
I didn't find out the sex of my child because I hate the all-pink and all-blue stereotype people would enter into.
I've also started to have enough of the stupid questions the old bumpies used to moan about... No, there's no need for rudeness but the same stuff day after day? Ick.
I hate it when people refer to my daughter as princess. It really bothers me that they think it's an endearing term. I always think of it as an insult to someone acting entitled or spoilt. Plus she hates princess stuff and Spider-Man and characters that actually do exciting things are what she loves.

Baby nikes. They cost a whole lot more than they are worth and they look dumb!
I'm tired of everyone else's unpopular opinions (in my family). "You need to walk at least twice a day, or else your labor will be HELL!" "Maybe you should get a cheaper crib, and a cheaper dresser." Like maybe, I should get what I see fit. And work out how I please, and be able to enjoy it without my pelvis feeling like it's going to escape my body. -_-
I agree with a lot of these. The most annoying to me as of late has been all the "what do you think of this baby name?" posts. Its your child, stop asking a bunch of random people on a forum what we think. If you like that name then choose it.
Another one of mine is that I'm getting tired of my friends. After I quit my job none of them have spoken to me which has been more of a relief than a bother. Too much crap to put up with when you've got a lot of lady friends.
People giving electronics to toddlers and young teens. Oh they need that smart phone? Really? (personal favorite is then when they say they are broke) I mean just download a game on yours and they can play it....or better yet send them outdoors to play or with their toys to learn how to use their imagination....

I've lost quite a bit of friends as well. Took me long enough to realise just how ridiculous some of them really are.

YES! Dear God how did I not think of this one?! If a child has never experienced playing outside from early morning until dinner time, they haven't lived! I used to beg my parents "10 more minutes please?!"
Oh yes!! The name posts and the 3 to 4 a day of the same question by random people lol! At the stage of pregnancy, I just CAN'T!!! I agree that we shouldn't be rude but I feel like our nerves are being tested and I might fail. :-)
My UO -- Discussions on here looking for relationship advice from total strangers about Personal information that you should not be telling the world... you cheated on your husband and you don't know if he's the father? your Fiance or Husband is a total douche bag and you just don't know what to do? Makes me feel like someone is looking for a pity party, But maybe Im just to prideful and would never want strangers to know if something like that was happening to me. Do people have no shame.
I love the mobile phone one - I'm a music teacher and I often ask kids to get new music. The usual answer is "mum can't afford it". The next week, they're telling me about the Tenerife holiday or the iPhone 6 they've just been bought.
I seriously doubt this is UO but why on EARTH do maternity clothes manufacturers insist on a pattern of horizontal stripes on 98% of their tops and dresses? Even when I wasn't pregnant, I avoided horizontal stripes like the plague. I love my bump but I do not love my pregnant booty right now and would prefer not to accentuate it. :-q

Yes yes yes!! My MIL and FIL gave our nephew an iPad for Christmas when he was 3! What in God's name does a 3 year old need an IPad for? I don't even think the Leap Pad readers are warranted (he got one of those too). You want your kid to learn to read? Try a book! I am so terrified they are going to do the same for our baby with the assanine gifts. I feel the need to put my foot down now and will be returning anything they give her that I don't approve of.
And to piggy back on what @odawg said because now I'm on a roll, I don't think it's cute when babies know how to unlock phones, swipe the screen to make xyz appear, take a selfie or do anything else with an electronic device!
It's so frustrating when family thinks they have the right to introduce electronics or items you are not ready to give your child without checking in with the parents. It's rude and totally disrespectful to the parents!! @kbradley721

My UO when I read these... "You chose him." Yikes I'm terrible!!
My UO....I want my parents to see and spend time with my baby in the hospital and at my house, but don't want my in laws anywhere near her...not even after we get home.
I wish I could make this a thing and actually enforce it without DH flipping out and arguing about it. Hate my FIL.
I hear ya, DH lost his dad when he was only 12 and his mom remarried a man that was in prison for several years for robbing an elderly woman, I want nothing to do with my so called FIL!!! @mrsphillips610 ... Luckily DH understands because the situations is so messed up but still it's so uncomfortable!! Why can't people just be freaking normal!!
I agree with the chevron-hating, especially because of how over-used it is. I also can't stand children wearing clothes that are personalized all of the time - initials, name, etc. It makes the clothes pretty much disposable and not able to be re-used. On a special occasion, okay. But it drives me crazy when it's just a normal shirt that now has the child's name all over it. Wasteful.
I hate the clothes that have the ruffles around the wrists on the sleeves and around the ankles on the legs. Ugh, stop it! You're making your child look like a circus clown.

Can I use this as a space to confess something unpopular? I've been putting our puppy outside more and more every day. I've never been that kind of dog parent, but our poor little guy is getting the raw end of the deal.
Backstory- we have a small suburban farm. I am a sahm with a 2.5 year old, a 1 year old, and Lo on the way. (3rd was not planned). We have been fostering and on the wait list with several farm and family appropriate breed rescues for several years and have, in the between time, been watching out now 16 year old border collie wear herself out with her farm and childcare chores. Anyone who knows bc's, knows that they simply will not stop. Plus we need her to help train and socialize her protégé/replacement.
So in January we broke down and took in a collie puppy. All the rescues and even our vet said a puppy was a good fit for our family because of our special needs. And I was actually comfortable with it until two weeks after we got the puppy. My husband's hours suddenly went from 8-4:30 m-f to 7-7 m-sat. So here I am, preggers as hell, with two toddlers, a small farm, a geriatric border collie, and a puppy. So I put him outside 3-4 times a day rather than deal with all his needs. I've become THAT dog mom. So my UO is of myself. Blegh.
The constant posting of threads that are already on here maybe 4 threads down is driving me crazy. There are currently 2 about breast pumps on the first page! This makes me miss the ladies who left this board because sometimes people should be called out for repetitive or uninformed posts.
