I'm a bit of a bad mummy- I've still had the odd alcoholic drink, Caesar dressing and deli meats. I work around critically ill people with all kinds of nasty bugs and even though we have PPE to wear we can never truly minimise the risk so by comparison I think the alcohol/dressing/meat is ok. The risk is pretty small x
I don't think you're a bad mummy at all xx
I eat and drink pretty much everything I did before I was pregnant, just in moderation.
Deli meats, sushi, tuna, soft cheese, and the odd glass of wine here and there.
My baby will be just fine.
I do miss eating eggs, which are perfectly fine to eat while pregnant I just can't stomach them at all. And I couldn't eat chicken for the first three months, but I find I can eat it now. Eggs though...bleah.
I think the only thing I really miss is getting comfortable while I sleep. And space. my DS has been ALL OVER me since I got pregnant. I can't be more than 3 feet away from him without him throwing a tantrum for me to come back to him.
1. Having energy, no morning sickness and no heartburn. Still having morning sickness at nearly 24weeks 2. Alcohol!! 3. My 4abs I was so proud of finally getting.
Beer, stomach sleeping, awesomely timed poops at the same time every day, taking the stairs without feeling like a whale. (To the person who said "not vomiting," I am soooo sorry for your pain but you made me laugh!) Great thread.
1. mojitos! 2. My boobs just being huge instead of gigantic and ALWAYS in the way. 3. Moving around without feeling like a beached whale. I am SO sorry for the girls that can't have an orgasim... I would die!
Oh wow love the responses lol. 1. Drinking with my man and friends, don't get me wrong being the DR is fine and I get to see him, his twin and their buddy drunk which is hilarious but I miss joining in. 2. Definitely sleeping on my stomach, and no waking up every hour or so to pee. 3. Not peeing a bit when sneezing... especially when out *face palm*. 4. Deli meat craving a sandwich bad and can't have it unless I cook it and yuck to that idea. As for the ladies who are unable to organ I'm so sorry!! I would die too, my sex drive is thriugh the roof and haven't seen my man in two months so self organs have kept me from killing people lol. Just over and nd week and I can pounce on him *sees and bright light and hears hallelujah being sung* sorry I'm a little dramatic lol.
1. Sweet wine, hard cider, cherry bombs, really just alcohol. I know we can have some but right now I don't trust myself to stop I miss it so bad. 2. Not having to choose between having afro bush or some sort of hack job because I can't see it anymore when I try to shave it. 3. Energy! My husband goes back to work next week and I will be back in charge of getting the boys up and DS 1 to school on time... I just don't know how that will go. 4. Pooping on a normal schedule! Seriously before pregnancy I had a BM everyday at the same time and now it's either nothing for days or I may as well just live in the bathroom because I know I'll be back in just a bit. 5. Having the ability to keep up with my boys. I feel like a shit mom lately not being able to keep up and play with them the way I used to. 6. Walking without feeling like my vagina is about to fall off 7. Not feeling like my boobs are strangling me every time I lay down. 8. Not having morning sickness or heart burn every minute of the day.
Sorry, way more than 3. And I could keep going. I am so jealous of people who love being pregnant and have such smooth pregnancies.
I still eat cold meat. With my first it was okay, by the time I got pregnant with number two it was naughty. Lunch meat could not have gotten that dangerous in 5 years time!
1. Bleu cheese 2. Feta cheese 3. Wearing normal clothes
Girl, if they are pasteurized, you can eat them! I live on bleu cheese and feta. (My husband is greek!) check the label. I always ask at restaurants too! Do it!!!
Im a full time student and i work so the whole one cup of coffee a day is a struggle lol also i turn 21 in a month so my bday wont be as fun as i had originally planned :P

Oh thank god! I thought I was the only one! I have been eating caesar dressing (to be honest I did not realise that I wasn't supposed to!), deli meats (but very rarely) and soft serve (again, only rarely). I've had 2 glasses of champagne, but in saying that I found out REALLY early that I was pregnant so that has been it for about 20 weeks (I'm 22 weeks now). Bub is very active and doc says all is good.
1) no heart burn! Before my second trimester I had literally never experienced heartburn in my life, now it constantly feels like I'm waking up in the middle of the night to satan trying to climb out of my throat!
2) sleeping on my belly. Oh the joys of coming home from work, taking a HOT not luke warm bath and crawling into my king size bed with hubby laying on my belly kicking my leg up to the side and passing out!
3) last but certainly not least, EXERCISE. I understand you can still do some exercising while pregnant but not the kind I like. I want that "oh my god this is going to make me so sore tomorrow" sweat running off me type of workout.
I feel like I could go on and on lol but I keep telling myself, at almost 24 weeks, I can do this! Three more months to go and I get to see my little man (Kace Andrew ) and it'll ALL be worth it!
1. I'm not a big drinker but I never thought that not being able to drink is this hard. 2. Sleeping on my back/stomach, this side sleeping is driving me nuts. 3. Being able to wear my old clothes, I can still fit into most of it, but it's my nice sexy dresses that I can't wear anymore. 4. Being able to bend down to shave or tie my shoes. 5. Eating deli sandwiches once in a while. 6. Having a normal sex life without my husband worrying that this or that might hurt the baby. 7. Using any acne products without worrying that they might be dangerous
Sleeping for more than an hour at a time Pooping Being unapproachable. Every one wants to ask you how you're doing and touch your belly. I just want to be left alone.
