I'm the same way, i only get one U/S to find out the sex and for measuring purposes unless something is wrong. But i've made friends with an ultrasound tech and she said she might be able to sneak me into the hospital for a student teaching U/S.
Won't let me attach my pic either but I had my first ultrasound today at 7w1d with our rainbow baby and I got to hear the heartbeat and see a very active baby!!! It was the most amazing experience and such a relief after my miscarriage 7 months ago. I cried tears of joy the whole time .
My u/s is march 31st. I am so impatient. Seeing these 5 and 6 week u/s makes me sad. I have to wait until I'm at least 8 weeks. :-/
I scheduled an appointment the same day! I thought it was long enough to make it feel real and sink in but also to reduce any disappointment of the nagging "what ifs" we probably all have. CHIN UP! Only two weeks now,
How are you all getting ultra sounds 5-6 week? Mine won't until 9 :0/
In my conuntry you can have them at 2 w. It doesn't mean that you can see anything but....here we pay for every us. There is the state clinic....that is free from your doctor. But every app that I go to costs somewhere around 30-50$....so...
I am currently overseas for our honeymoon and won't be able to have my scan until the 2nd of April when we get back which I will then be 8 weeks exactly. Can't wait, I am so excited. This is our first and I couldn't be happier
It was the RE. They do scans early because of history of infertility and miscarriage. The regular Dr would not have seen me until at least 9w and probably 12. Good luck and stay calm!
I only got mine early because my LMP was dating me at 7w which is when my dr likes to have the first u/s for dating and to find heartbeat. Because I was so early at 5w4d, they had me back in a week later at 6w5d to make sure baby was growing.
I had my first one at 4 weeks 5 days because according to my last period I was 7 weeks and also I've had a miscarraige before so we were being extra cautious. However they only saw a yok sack and no baby or heart beat so I went back a week later at 5 weeks 5 days and saw baby and heart beat.
Got an ultrasound today. Lmp had me thinking I was 7wks 4ds, but baby measured at 6wks4ds with 112 heart beat flickering away :x tried to add pic but couldn't....
My first U/S was 5w5d only seen the gestinational sac... Now I'm 6w2d and don't go back to the dr until Friday when I'll be 6w5d hopefully he will let me go get another U/S when I'll be 7w0d so I can here a heartbeat and get a accurate measurement
Congrats to all of you... my Doctor didn't order any scans and I am already 7 weeks. I am so impatient I want to see it! He told me to wait 2 more weeks.
Hey, do any of you ladies have thoughts as to why some of us can post our ultrasound pics and others can't? I can post to my profile but not to the forum posts. I'm doing this from my phone (Android). Is that why?
