30 and over mommy?

Hey everyone just wondered how many 30 and over mommies are out there. I am 33 pregnant with my third. I have a son who will be 12 on st patty day and daughter who will be 10 in July. It's been awhile since I carried a baby in me. This pregnancy has been way different than the other two. Wasn't sure if that is due to age or just not remembering all those other symptoms.
I am due Oct 29th and will have my first ultrasound next Monday.
Would love to hear from you guys!

  • I'm 32 and this is my 2nd baby.  my first is 5 .  now I know why I waited so long.  pregnancy kicks my butt! lol the end result is worth it all and more is what I keep reminding myself .
  • Congratulations!! Hope you start feeling better soon. The only thing that is getting me is how fast I am popping out and starting to swell in my feet and legs. I don't remember having any of the swelling until later in my pregnancy.
  • 33 and this is my 4th pregnancy, but j have 1 living baby. My first pregnancy and miscarriage was when I was 21. It's definitely different in your 30s!

  • I recently turned 30 and this is our first. Feeling pretty miserable today and I'm not even at 8 weeks yet.

  • This will be my 4th pregnancy. I lost one back in September very early on. Was really nervous with this one but everything seems to be going well so far.
  • I'm 32. My daughter is nine. It is way different now that it was then. I am so exhausted and anxious. My poor daughter doesn't know what to think, but she's excited about being a big sister!
  • I'm 32 and this is my second my first is 2. So far everything is the same. Hardly any pregnancy symptoms
  • Yes! It's hard working when you feeling like you want to sleep all day!
  • I'm 36 and my daughter is 11! I feel ya on not having been pregnant in a long time, it almost feels like the first time again! The difference this time is Im healthier and more active than I was (and feel WAY better on the days I exercise). So I'm sort of "in training" for labor which I didn't do at 25 and paid for it dearly during labor and afterward. Looking forward to a different experience this time around.

Going to the dr for the first time on Thursday and can't wait! Then we are doing the big reveal to my daughter Friday night during a family photo shoot. She's going to flip!!!

Congrats to you! I bet your kids are excited!
  • Just turned 38 in January and this will be my first!  Terrified to have one this late in life!  I haven't had too many symptoms other than I get easily exhausted.  I hear the energy gets better in the 2nd trimester so I'm hoping!

  • Kids are definitely excited. Congratulations to all you new mom's! Have any of you had a ultrasound yet? Anxious to see this little one!
  • I'll be 31 on the 31st! Preggo with baby#2!
  • I turned 31 in February. DD will be 4 in May. So far, it's pretty similar to the first pregnancy. But difficult to take naps all day when you've got to entertain a 3 year old.

  • I'm 29 but will be 30 when the baby is born.... first pregnancy/ baby and so excited!!!! I'm so sleepy all the time it's ridiculous. Haven't had much morning sickness I get nauseous from time to time but so far no vomiting. My biggest complaints are gas and constipation. All in all I'm embracing the pregnancy and enjoying the ups and downs.
  • I'm 32 and this is my first. I'm 7 wks and 3 days so far I've just been pretty nauseous if I don't eat like every hr or so mild back pain, little cramps at times, and gassy. No actual vomiting thank god!

I'm 31 and this is my third as well. I have a 3 1/2 year old and 2 year old. I'm exhausted but was the other times too - though this time is harder because I have two little ones to care for.
  • I'm 32 and this is my second. My son is 17 months. Fatigue is the worst symptom so far, but that's probably a combo of toddler life and pregnancy! ;)
  • I'm 31 with my second baby. My OB said I'm still part of the young set. 30 is the new 20 ;)

I am more tired but I think that's bc I'm caring for a toddler this time.

  • I just turned 37 on March 10 and 7 weeks prego! This is my 6 pregnancy lost one last November early. It's been 13 years since my last one. So to me it's more hard don't remember all the pains and aches like this and I'm exhausted! But I considered it a blessing to be here again!! Good luck to all mommies ;;)
  • I will be 31 next month, due oct 22. This will be my 2nd child. My first child is 6 years. This pregnancy has been different, especially when it comes to morning sickness. I didnt know how good i had it with my son.
  • I'm 32 and will be 33 when this little one arrives.  It will be #3 for us.

  • I'm 31 and this is #3. I have a 6 yet old and 2.5 year old. With my first two I had more morning sickness in the actual morning and afternoon. With this one, it's more concentrated at night time. Seem to have a little more energy now than what I had with my first two... :)
  • I turn 32 next month. This is my first pregnancy. I've been tired & a little nauseous (but not too bad & luckily no vomiting) but struggling most with constipation, bloating, and lack of appetite (or being repulsed by food). But I'm trying to take it all in stride because I've waited so long for this! I didn't meet my husband until the day before I turned 30 so its been quick but I couldn't be happier!
  • Just turned 31 and pregnant with my third baby. My son will be 14 in May and my daughter just turned 11 in Feb. I keep trying to think back to my previous pregnancies and it just feels so different this time around. We're due Oct 7 and just can't wait to meet our little peanut.
  • I'm 31, I'll be 32 next month and this is my first. I'm about 9 weeks and so far I have been super lucky with no nausea. Just fatigue and sore boobs.
  • 34 on my 3rd pregnancy. I have a 14 and an 8 yr old. For me this is waaay different. Many more early symptoms this time around.
  • I'm 30, will be 31 when baby arrives. This my second. My dd is 6 and SUPER excited to be a big sister. My first pregnancy was a dream! This time I am nauseous and suffering from severe bloat. Wishing you all a happy and healthy pregnancy!
  • I'm 33 expecting my first- so far I have just been really fatigued. My only concern about having a baby somewhat later is my body's ability to "bounce back." I guess I'll just have to deal!!
  • I'll be 32 on Saturday!
  • I'm 32 and will be 33 when bubs is born. It's my first and I'm freaking out about everything, I have no idea what's normal and what's not!!!
  • I'm 34 and will still be 34 when LO is born. This is my first :) I have felt really sick from week 7 and on. I'm now 11w3d due Oct. 3rd. Constant nausea, extreme fatigue, insomnia, bloat. But it's starting to get a little better :)
  • I'm 31, will be 32 when the baby is born and this is my first. I'm 12 weeks 1 day today and some days I feel like my nausea is getting better, and some days it is still awful. I have my second appointment today, so excited to hear the heartbeat again.
  • 34 and this is my second....had my DS at 32.

  • I'm 31 and this is #2.  DD is 3.5
  • I'm 30, husband is 31. This is baby #1! I feel very ready & very excited! Glad we waited.
  • I'm 32 and this is my first pregnancy as well. Jenn posted above it's so fascinating to see the changes your body goes through-- I completely agree! Luckily I haven't had too many awful symptoms other than being exhausted and some mild nausea but there are some strange ones like excess saliva! Anyway I can't wait til the end of next week which is when my husband and I have decided we'll finally tell our families! I am getting antsy to share the great news (11 weeks now) but we decided to wait until after the first trimester screening I have next week!
  • I'll be 35 when baby arrives and this is my first. So far, no too much symptoms: nausea (mostly on empty stomach), little cramps, fatigue and I salivate a lot!! Can't wait my first u/s in two weeks now (I'm 7w4d).

I'm 32 and this is my first.  I'll be 33 at the time of birth.  My age was part of the reason I wanted to start having kids now, even though I'm not in the best place to have children (in the middle of graduate school).  I'm 11 weeks and 1 day today, and my symptoms feel like they are letting up, but they also felt that way a few weeks ago and then the nausea came back!

  • I'm 30 and this is my first!! I'll be 31 by the time baby comes. We do plan on having a 2nd and I'll be closer to 33 when that happens... I am a little jealous of my friends who had babies in their 20's because it sounds like they had it SO much easier than I am... but we will see how it goes. I'm still excited.
