Birth Photography. ..

I had my L&D of DS photographed professionally and LOVE to reminisce from time to time. I lucked out because my good friend has her own photography company and did it for free. Well, we haven't talked much in the past 2 1/2 years (didn't have a fallout; just lost touch a bit). My husband thinks I will regret not having this own photographed as well. And, he is probably right. However, there are a couple problems I have....1)I really cannot pay $2000 to hire someone 2) I don't feel right asking my friend if she would do it again, having not spoke with her in several months. Any thoughts or suggestions?

    This is a longshot, but maybe check Groupon? They have photography deals from time to time and there's a chance there may be a L&D photography deal on there. Like I said, longshot, but worth a try!

    I would just contact her about what her L&D rate is...Not really asking her to do it for free, but hopefully not paying $2000
