The painters are working on it this week. I ordered the furniture but it won't be here for awhile. I should have ordered it much sooner. I'm going to go crazy waiting. Here is my inspiration.

I've done nothing! Baby girls nursery is a mess of "stuff!" It was previously our spare room that we also used to store extra stuff. I have her bedding and all the stuff we need. I need to get DS kicked out of the crib one of these days. I'm so not as ready this time around.
I feel the same way, my girls room is full of toys, clothes, etc. And I just have no desire to start "weeding through" everything! I have everything I need for baby #2 but it's all jumbled in with everything else in the room!
@CateOfChicago we have very similar taste. I too just ordered my crib and dresser and it could be here in 3 or so weeks!! We are not finding out the sex until birth so we painted grey for the nursery and will go with more stars, cream and pink if a girl by changing bedding and stuff and go more industrial and navy/grey tones if a boy!
I'm laughing. Maybe I should be crying. Ours is still stud walls, not even insulated, no light fixtures etc. And I haven't a solitary peice of furniture for it yet. Life has been ridiculously busy. My husband is working on our room (we gutted it. And are now drywalling), and he's still hoping to get both done in time. I'm not due until the end of May, and we have lots of friends and family to help. So I'm still planning on having it done in time. But I'm disappointed I don't get to work on decorating etc. sooner. It helps to pretty much know what I want though. So hopefully that part of it will go quickly.
We are in literally the same boat. I just want to lay in the dark and cry when I think about it. I'm due May 15th wnd we're refinishing a basement to live in temporarily and all we have done is SOME of the sheetrock in our bedroom. My SO works 6 days a week and he only gets to work on the basement every once in a while. Our baby is going to be sleeping in our room for the first few months anyway so it's no biggie BUT I have all of these ideas for the nursery and it's killing me that I can't see them come to life.
Almost complete... We just have to put some more wall decorations and my husband is currently putting in his bookshelves. My husband did all the painting, hanging, made the letters for his name, redid the closet, and refinished and painted the dresser. He has done an awesome job! I did nothing other than make some canvases for the wall that are not shown. Oh and it needs organized, but the hubby and I both are kinda horrible at being clean and organized!
Y'all are making me feel SOOO behind and so not prepared. We have a crib, but that's about it. We are STILL under construction, but hopefully the stain, drywall and paint will be up by next weekend, so we can start working on the nursery!! Fingers crossed.
I am so bad; her room is still DH's office!! I had our 13 month old with us for 8 weeks anyway, so I figure we have time. I may keep her in with us longer as she most likely has Down Syndrome.
Love seeing all of these pictures! These nurseries all look gorgeous!! We went with a woodland theme and I painted some birch trees on the wall around the crib. Almost done!!
Moving in September so not doing too much to walls for just 3 months....still waiting on "Charlotte" letter blocks for wall from Eric Carle museum and a changing pad for changing table/dresser We have a cute painting my 11 year old sister made in 2nd grade that we are using as a color scheme theme.
This is all we have so far. You all are so creative! I want to do something with the walls but haven't decided yet. They're so plain! Also, if you're wondering about the tin foil, which I just noticed, hubby read that we should do that to deter our cat from wanting to jump into the crib, lol.
upgraded our 2.5 year old to a big boy room last weekend - taking this weekend off and the following weekend we paint & tackle the nursery. Have most of the furniture just need to get it all pulled together
