just wondering because I don't know...I know tmi but I don't want anything to go wrong at my appointment D; I'm 13weeks pregnant and finally getting my first appointment with a on/gyn

I wouldn't if they are going to do a Pap smear. It messes with the cervical cells and they may not be able to get a good swab and then you would have to repeat the Pap. It happened to me in December.

Sure! Sex isn't going to hurt the baby or cause any real issues at your appointment. Only thing I will warn you of (only because I've run into it, not really an issue but if they say anything it might put your mind at ease) is they might tell you that they see microscopic amounts of blood in your urine. It can be an indicator of uti which is common during pregnancy. It's happened to me twice and came back as nothing. I found out later that sex within 24 hours or so of the urine sample can cause it.

I worked with an ARNP that said having sex in the 24 hours prior to a pap can cervical cells to come back abnormal.

Yeah, if you're having a Pap smear than I wouldn't have sex since it can cause the pap to come back as abnormal, but if you won't be having a pap it should be fine!
