I hate when people touch my collar bone or if something touches it, like the seatbelt. It is icky and makes me squirm. When people talk anything medical, more specifically...blood, bones, surgeries (not necissarily collar bone related).....it makes my colar bone feel icky and I Turtle up into a ball to protect my collar bone.
Now that I have written this down I see that I sound like a craZy person.
I hate socks. I wear them in the winter out of necessity, but as soon as it is a bit above freezing and the sun is out...I'm in sandals (or flats without socks, but usually sandals).
I have a fear with stairs with spaces between the steps (not sure if that makes sense). Some staircases freak me out more than others. Like if it doesn't have a railing I might have a panic attack. Weird, I know.
I get really neurotic about planning sometimes, to the point where I have a schedule drawn up in 15 minute increments. The problem, I'm entirely too spontaneous to actually follow my own schedule. Sometimes I will actually continually revise and fully rewrite the schedule like 10 times.

clbailey5 - I am the same. DH knows this and will purposely change the volume on the radio or tv just to mess with me.
I hate elevators and escalators! I have nightmares about the elevator just going up super fast and the floor raising up to the ceiling and squishing me or falling all the way the way to the bottom. I fear that I will get cough on a step of the escalator.
I don't like my hair touching my neck. I never wear it down. Never.
I can't sleep if my closet door is open.
I don't like talking on the phone. I'm very visual and it bothers me that I can't see the person. I worry about not understanding what they are saying. I get stressed when I have to call the bank, cable company, etc because I hate it.
I can't do this either! I had a super weird nightmare when I was a kid and it has stuck with me. Close those doors! The door to the bedroom, on the other hand, can be open or closed. Who knows.
My skin crawls when I hear the sound of scraping ice. Scraping ice off the windshield, scraping the top of an italian ice, people chewing ice...I cannot STAND the sound! I have the worst case of arachnophobia, yet I can spot every tiny, miniscule spider in the room with in SECONDS. My husband calls it a sixth sense. The word IRREGARDLESS!
Re: Are you quirky?
My favorite words are nauseous and onomatopoeia

I often talk to inanimate objects, or occasionally ascribe characteristics or names to them

I'm sure I have lots of them but nothing I can think of specifically at the moment....
