Hi ladies! Just to have a good discussion(hope we do) and to get to know each other alittle bit more!

1)What age were you when first pregnant?If not have your first child,then what age would you wish to have your first?

2)What SEX do you wish to want as your first?does sex matter or not?

3)What name would you chose for either a boy or girl?

1)19 when pregnant and had a miscarriage

2)I would love to have a boy first but if not it wont matter! Love it either way

3. We haven't picked a name, there are about 15 different ones right now.

Also, this is my first post on this board. I haven't been on since i was pregnant for my son in 2013. Glad to be back and ready for my last.

Nice friendly thread! I'll join in! I'm new here as well.. My DH and I have been married almost 3 years, trying for our first child, and only in the second month of TTC... Hope it happens soon!

3. Names are fun and we have talked about it for years: we love Miles for a boy, and Norah for a girl

1) My Husband and I have been married 2 years and this is our first time TTC (first month too actually; about to be in the TTW), I will be 30 in June.

2) I'd welcome a boy or girl with open arms!

3) For a boy we love Brandon Michael, and for a girl we love Julia Elizabeth.

I've never been pregnant. I'm 27 now, so hopefully by 28.

Either. It doesn't make a bit of difference to me. I'd like to have one of each eventually.

3)What name would you chose for either a boy or girl?

H and I love Cora Grey for a girl (H wants to spell it with a K, I'm not a fan, too Kardashian-ish for me), and we like either Fionn (pronounced Finn) or Jonas for a boy...no middle names chosen yet.

1) I have been married to DH for 4 years now and we have been TTC #1 for about 6 months.

2) I would love to have either a boy or a girl, but I'm going to lean more towards a boy for #1 (DH wants to keep going until we have a boy...so I hope it's the first)

3) Boy names: David or William

Girl names: Izabela (my favorite) but we have yet to settle on a girls name

1-I will be 26 before any baby of mine is born, as of the bfn I got this morning.

2- I would like a happy, and preferably healthy baby.

3- Our names are Eliana Mae for a girl, and Aiden Michael for a boy.

1 - First pregnancy at 24, but did not result in a birth. Hoping to have my first child when I am 28 or 29.

2 - My DH keeps saying he wants girls, but I don't really have a preference.

3 - Girl names: Initially we wanted Nora Mei, but when I realized how increasingly popular Nora is we switched it to Isla Mei. For boys the same thing happened to Caleb so now we don't know what we want for boys. I like River but my husband hate it, haha.

Hi ladies! Just learning all of this new information from all of your posts and wanted to say hi and thanks for sharing!

1) I turn 30 next month so possibly 30-31 hopefully!

2) I guess I'd prefer a boy first but I think id be scared of a boy too! Haha

3)My DH insist on K names, he likes Kash (no thanks!) I like Kain for short so maybe something like Kainen? Girl wise maybe Karli? I'm a teacher so names are tough!

1)I had my first at 27. I was ready about 2 years earlier but DH was still in school so we made the very wise but hard choice to wait for him to finish.

2)I wanted a boy so badly and I got my little guy! I'd honestly be happy with either for #2 but Ifelt so lucky to get the little boy is always dreamed of first time around

3)DS is named Jackson and we call him Jack most of the time. For #2 if it's a girl she will be Lily. For a boy I like Oliver but haven't discussed it with DH yet.

I also noticed the sex/gender thing right off the bat, but since Alex already brought that up, I'll chime in!

1) What age were you when first pregnant? If not have your first child, then what age would you wish to have your first?

I was 21 with DD, 23 with DS. I am now remarried and DH and I have been TTC #3 for 2 years. I'll be in my 30s with #3, but who knows at what exact age I'll be when things finally happen.

2) What gender sex do you wish to want as your first? Does gender sex matter or not? Sex does not matter to us. Gender doesn't, either.

3) What name would you chose for either a boy or girl? I love the name Reese for a girl, but I don't know that I'll be able to get DH on board with that. DH and I email/text baby names back and forth all the time, but have never agreed on anything. I guess we're waiting until we are actually pregnant to discuss for real.

1. I was 23 when pregnant with my first miscarriage and 24 when pregnant with my second miscarriage. If I got pregnant now the baby will be born after my birthday so I'm really hoping 25 is my year!

3. We have two boys names Augustus Glenn (my favorite) and Alexander Cecil (his) and we have two girl names Sylvia Marie (mine) and Annabelle Sarah (his).

Gender and/or sex do not matter so much to us as long as he/she is healthy

(though at the risk of sounding really corny, I had a dream a few weeks ago about a baby girl)

I'm super paranoid about sharing the names we came up with but also since I'm not even pg, it could change so we're still exploring options

2. We are hoping for another girl, but of course would still be super happy/excited for a boy. A healthy little one and safe delivery for both mommy and baby are most important of course

Hi Everyone!
I am new here. This is my first post.

Hubby and I are on our 3 month countdown to TTC!

I have started taking my prenatal vitamins and am trying to eat well/shred some extra weight before we start trying in May

Here are my answers:

1)What age were you when first pregnant?If not have your first child,then what age would you wish to have your first?

I was first pregnant at 19 but it ended in a miscarriage at 9.5 weeks. (Hubby and I just got married in May of last year, I think getting through an unexpected pregnancy and then miscarrying at a young age made our relationship stronger!)

2)What gender do you wish to want as your first?does gender matter or not?

I always thought I wanted girls, but now I think I would love having a boy. I guess either way I would be happy!

3)What name would you chose for either a boy or girl?

Girls: Serenity (Seren) Rae Kinniburgh or Sierra Margaret Rose

Boys: Kashton or maybe Brayden? Not sure yet lol I've also thrown around Dallas. I really have no idea LOL

It's not funny, it's normal and healthy. You shouldn't be trying to get pregnant unless you can handle the outcome of either SEX (not gender, OP).

The idea that someone would actually think that the sex of their unborn child matters so dramatically makes me ill.

Hi i'm fairly new to this site as well.

I was 20 with my first, 24 with my second, and 27 with my third. All girls from my marriage to their father. I am currently 36 and ttc my fourth child, but my boyfriend's first biological. We are experiencing our first tww!

Either sex would be perfect. I just want another bundle of joy to add to our blended family.

As far as names go, my girls and I love Elle Bryan for a girl, named after my brother who passed away in a car accident.... We haven't found anything that jumped out at us yet for boys names...

Hello everyone! I started using this app about 5 years ago when I was TTC my first child. I've been off and on since then.
1. I was 26 when I had my son and 29 when I had my daughter. I'm now 30 and we are TTC #3. So hopefully I will be 31 when the next one is born.
2. Since we have one of each, we are perfectly happy with either a boy or girl.
3. No names yet. But my sons name is Biblical and my daughters name is Hawaiian (2 things we love and that mean a lot to us). So we will name our third after something that means a lot to us too.

3) We don't have anything picked out as far as names. Our last name is a mouthful, so I'd like to keep the first name simple. Some that we both like for boys are Lucas/Luke, Clint (family name), Grant... for girls I like Nora, Sadie, Eleanor, Alayna, Brooke..

@AdeleDazeem you need to chill out!!! Never did I say if I had two boys that I would be unhappy with another boy. How DARE you even insinuate that!! I feel so blessed to have the children I do and I love them with all my heart and it infuriates me that you would say anything remotely that negative and mean!! Even if I did only want a boy or only want a girl, who are you to judge me? If you can be this judgmental and mean to people you don't even know then I pray you find peace with your life.

Don't get mad at me, communicate better.

Edit: oh, you wanted a girl soooooo badly. But you don't want a boy sooooo badly, so what are we to conclude? Use your words better and think about what you're saying.

Edit: if you only want one sex over the other then you need to reevaluate why you want a child. Sex-choosing is sickening.

And no - I don't need to chill out. Other people need to think about what they're saying, what they mean and what they want. Saying you only want one sex over the other is cruel to the child that you might have. Yeah, I'm going to call you out on it and demand better.

And just because someone may want a boy more than a girl or vice versa, is not cruel. Because as soon as you see that little face it doesn't matter. Whether you've been blessed with a boy or a girl, it's perfect.

I was 25 when I was first pregnant, and turned 26 a month later. DS was born several months later.

I really wanted a boy, and DH wanted a girl. When that baby is born, I don't think it ever matters if he is a she or if she is a he.

3)What name would you chose for either a boy or girl?
Oddly enough, we never discussed girl names, but when we were in High school, we always talked about the name Dominic for a boy. That was back in the year 2000. O_o 12 years later we brought home our little Dominic.
