maybe this already has a thread. I didn't find one. Sorry if there is!
But has anyone else been making and collecting freezer meals for when little one arrives? I didn't ask for anyone to help make anything because we eat so picky (modified paleo and 100% gluten free.. With limited dairy) that it definitely wasn't fair haha.
I decided to make another exhausting effort and make a bunch of yummy stuff today. So far the freezer meal list looks like (with varying amounts of each)
-Homemade Chicken Soup
-Homemade Meat Spaghetti Sauce
-Paleo Beanless Chili
-Gluten Free Lasagna
-Sausage Sweet Potato Casserole
-Beef/Bacon/cauliflower/sweet potato casserole
-Beef tips & Gravy
And then on Wednesday or Friday I'll add the final addition.. Which is a Paleo Chicken Frittata that looks DELICIOUS
Plus I've been gradually collecting frozen gluten free pre made meals from the grocery store ... Got at least a dozen of those. Plan on using those mostly for my lunches since my husband is the one who is the strictest as far as Paleo goes.
So... Do share you're creations!
Re: Freezer Meals
I did put in a special request to a couple friends so I don't have to cook too much.
Meatballs sound like a good idea! I'm gonna make some tomorrow
I wish I could send them your way!
Do you know how to make it? I don't mind inboxing you how. It's not hard at all
I'll do it before end of the day
Chicken enchiladas, lasagna, beef fajitas, about 6 lbs of browned hamburger for tacos or spaghetti etc, 3 shredded rotisserie chickens separated into bags for casseroles etc, a ton of breakfast burritos, chocolate chip pancakes and regular pancakes, large meatballs I use for bbq meatballs, and small meatballs I use for meatball subs or spaghetti.
I hope this is easy to follow
It's not traditional, but it's one of my quick after work versions
Hope it's easy to follow
If you like it with more broth I like to add more water and tomato sauce. Just keep tasting the soup and add garlic salt as needed. I wish I could show you guys , it's easier that way! But you'll figure it out. It's really easy
