I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow. Baby girl is stationed at +2 and I've had the worst pressure and tingling feeling down below. I'm 2 cm and 80 percent effaced with bulging membranes. Any tips to help with inducing labor? My doctor said he'd be surprised if i made it till next week and that was a week ago tomorrow. Help!
Re: tips to help induce labor?
For real though, sounds like your body is doing the job on its own & baby will come fairly soon. I'd just do lots of walking, pelvic circles on a yoga ball, maybe sex... None of it is guaranteed to help but can't really hurt.
Bubs will be here when they are ready!
Some things to try are;
Sex
Walking
Eating spicy food
Bumpy car rides
Pineapple
Bouncing on a exercise ball
Rocking in a rocking chair
Nipple simulation
Painting your toe nails
Moving some funtuire
Cleaning
Dancing...anything active really!
Raspberry tea leaf
Acupuncture
Blowing up some balloons
Herbal remedies
Acupressure
Orgasm
Evening primrose oil
Eat date fruit
That's all I can think off at this time.. Have a search on Google or check the search bar below and type "induction" it will bring up old posts that may have some other tips.
Good luck!!!
