Before 18 weeks, it's pretty tough to see the sex organs of the baby and be able to distinguish if they are male or female. For those of you doing an ultrasound earlier than 18 weeks and hoping to find out the sex, I wouldn't be running out and buying all blue or pink after that appointment! The 18-20 week anatomy scan is usually a better indicator, but even IT can be wrong or inconclusive if the baby isn't cooperating in positioning.
Eating chocolate isn't going to tell you the baby's sex. I think what the PP was suggesting is that eating sugar, in pretty much any form, will often encourage the baby to move and may give you a better chance at seeing the sex organs.
Mmh that's interesting. Yeah I'm super excited I don't think I'll do the blood test I want to do the ultrasound I guess I just want the jelly rubbed on my tummy lol and want to see the picture lol
I'm 13 weeks and 3 days and I had a Sono last Friday and although I think they could tell, they wouldn't tell me the sex and this was at the high risk dr... I can't wait to find out the sex either!!! Now we will wait until 20 weeks
im 12w 3d and i have my next drs appointment tomorrow! we will be doing an ultrasound and a blood draw for the maternit21 test to test for genetic abnormalities and it will also tell me the sex of the baby. I should have results in 7-10 business days they said! I cant wait! I think babys a boy!
Re: Is there any September Mommy's wanting to find out the sex of their baby early? :)
