I feel like this baby will never have a name

My husband has decided that we're naming the baby Darcy Mae. I'm the one who originally suggested Darcy, but now it just doesn't feel right.

DD is Natalie Elizabeth and I want something that doesn't clash with that. I'm due May 11th so we have time but I don't want to put this off and be arguing in the hospital.

I was previously decided on Lila and Mia earlier on, but decided neither of those were right.

    So... Are you looking for name suggestions similar to Darcy? Or just something that sounds nice with Natalie?

    I guess just any suggestions. Similar to Darcy or the others that we had previously agreed on. I really don't want something super popular.

    What is Natalie's mn? I would toss Darcy Mae. And Mae as a middle name in general unless you are honoring someone.

    Natalie's mn is Elizabeth. We aren't doing family names. Mae is something my DH just came up with. I actually like it..just not with Darcy.

    DH is now considering Sydney. I'm not even sure if I'm sold on it, but he's at least considering something else which is good.

    And I read him every single suggestion and he said no. He drives me crazy. He hasn't suggested a name since the very beginning of my pregnancy and chooses to just veto everything I suggest.

    Just a suggestion... Were there any names suggested that you like? If so, make a short list of your favorites, give it to him and ask him to just think on them a day or so. It's hard to really react to a name the first time you hear it. If he comes back later and still says no, start over.

    It's interesting that he likes Ava and Helena...and Sydney. Such totally opposite styles!

    Word. Sydney is so......... 90's horror flick. Like, final girls are awesome by default, but come on! Sydney is not that great of a name.

    Sydney is a name for a boy!

    There are a lot of good suggestions listed above. I agree that you should narrow it down and give him a list of names you like to think on for a week or so. 

    And be sure to write them out and say them out loud with your other daughter's name, sometimes seeing them on paper and hearing them together can really make a difference in figuring out if you like a name or not.
