Contractions help please

Hi I'm 37+3 days I had a show yesterday and today got waken up to really bad cramps in my stomach I'm getting back ache as well I phoned my maternity ward she said its normal and its sign of labour,

I'm just wondering if anyone other women have had this and how long they waited before baby was here xxx

Those are signs of labour - we'll all have similar ones.

Are you timing your contractions?

Well the contractions that I've had start in my back and sort of radiate to my abdomen, very painful but baby is still not here yet.

You should be timing them, not posting on here. Sorry to be somewhat short with you but sounds like the real deal and you shouldn't be wasting time on here. Good luck.

Time them. It's the only way to know if you have real labor, or if you are working a bad burrito around the kid.

And yes, bowel issues can feel like contractions.
