Thursday Randoms...

Went to the doctor yesterday and my baby finally weighs 1 lb. I feel like this is a milestone :)

Also I got the sugary drink to take home for my glucose test for the next visit. I don't know about you all but timing it just right has me a little stressed. I for sure do not want to sit for 3 hours at the docs office.

    I'm glad to be back home. I've been traveling for work since Monday and the weather was in the low teens in upper Indiana. Back home in GA, the weather is in the 30s and it kind of feels like a heat wave in comparison. LOL!

    another snow day today! i'm not too upset about this one because it gets me off the hook for that government visit i was talking about last week, but we have less than 7 weeks of school left before high stakes testing begins...yipes!

    I am so ridiculously excited for this weekend. My best friend (the only one who knows the baby's sex aside from my husband and I) is coming to sleep over tomorrow night and help me get everything prepared for Saturday - my gender reveal! Then Sunday is my first anniversary! I can hardly believe it's been a year already. It still feels like the wedding was just a couple weeks ago. We still haven't decided what we're doing on Sunday. The baby's been taking our full attention for these past few months. We may just take it easy and be homebodies.

    DH and I got into a huge fight yesterday about something absolutely ridiculous.. mainly his time management skills. And now we're not talking. And I'm feeling very depressed about the whole thing. He's younger than me and I worry that he just isn't ready to handle the responsibility of this new baby. Its a lot different with my son who is 5 and pretty good at playing by himself and is potty trained and feeds himself and everything. Being a stepdad to a slightly older kid is a breeze in my opinion. But I don't know if hubby is ready to give up his childish-ness for the role of fulltime dad. I just don't know what to do right now. Not talking is killing me but I don't know what more I can say to him and I can't seem to get him to listen and understand my concerns at all. Its so damn frustrating!

    Just signed up for child birth classes today. Always feel like I'm running behind schedule lately, even though I think we still had a bit of time to take care of that! Crazy to think we're closer to child birth than conception at this point!

    I have peed on myself three times today. I've learned the hard way to never trust a sneeze or cough. Outrageous!
