FET scheduled 2/28/2015

My nurse called earlier with blood work results and I had my LH surge so my FET is scheduled for Saturday, 2/28/2015. I am so relieved that I will have a break from the recent daily hour-and-forty-minute drive each way to my RE  for monitoring. Leaving the house at 5:15 every morning has gotten a little old and my arms are pretty purple. Anyway, I just thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone else is on a similar time frame with their IVF/IUI/TI. We're following suggested protocol with single egg transfer, though two is so tempting. Also, any advice, tips, etc. please let me know, nothing is too wacky. I ate pineapple for my three IUIs and last ET, and I don't even like pineapple! Hope everyone is doing well and we're all lucky this month.

    Oh my that is a tough ride 1:40!?

    I'm excited for you and fingers crossed! My iui will fall somewhere Thursday-Saturday so we can TWW together!

    Good luck! :)  I had my IUI on Sunday, so I'm about a week ahead of you.  Hmmm.  I'm intrigued by the pineapple.  What does pineapple do?

    Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl! :)

    @emsmama15 I don't know what pineapple does, apparently nothing for me! I read a few articles on how pineapple core may help with implantation or something, idk, I'm laughing as I write this, but hey, when you're desperate you'll try anything! If I heard churning butter helped, my neighborhood would probably have enough for the next five years! Good luck, keep me posted on your tww!

    @kindershlitz my doc is in NYC but I guess it could be worse! The snow certainly has not helped with the drive, but if I leave early enough I miss the morning commuters. Anyway, yay, good luck with your IUI, it'll be nice to have some buddies in the TWW.

    PS-my tagging thing isn't working for some reason. Usually after the @ the name turns blue and is underlined...man...I do not have good luck with lines that I wished would appear:)

    I strongly recommend acupuncture if you are willing.

    I also ate pineapple core and drank pomegranate juice for lining

    My acupuncturist also says to eat and drink only warm things to keep the womb warm, no ice or cold foods.

    She also said lemons and grapes are good fertility foods.

    good-luck!! The previous clinic i was going to (our "local" one) was 2 hrs away so can relate! 
    Me (42) w/ partner for 16+ years
    TTC #1: 11/2012 - 9/2013; 6/2014 - present
    Follistim + TI (3x): All BFNs
    Follistim + IUI (1x): BFN 
    IVF #1: 17 retrieved,15 fertilized, Day 3: 15, Day 5/6: 3 biopsied
    Result; 1 frozen blast (inconclusive PGS results)
    IVF #2; ER: 6/22 16 retrieved, 6/25: 5 transferred (CP), 2 frozen
    FET 9/17: BFN
    Current FET -- Transferred 2 day-3 embryos - BFN
