We know that Roux is not to everyone's 'taste'. In French it actually means ginger hair which I think is worse than white sauce. But I like the sound of Roux and although this sounds cheesy (pun intended), I was inspired by Johnny Depp's character in the movie Chocolat who was called Roux.
But what's in a name anyway? My name actually means golden hair and I'm a brunette from a laid back beach town in Australia. If he's anything like his dad, I think Roux will be that cool surfer kid at school.
And if he doesn't like his name, well he can change it to Susan. Haha.

Edit: to sound more delightful.
I'll admit, I'm not 100% crazy about the name, but who cares what I think? And, I like your style. And I do love Chocolat.
We are not set in stone yet, but have been leaning towards Sara Elisabeth.
Because "H's" are ew?
This has been a battle with my DH the whole pregnancy. We both like the name, but he is 100% Italian and his family is still in Italy. With the H is the English spelling. Without the H is the European spelling. As I said it is not set in stone. However, this is our fourth DD and the only thing he has been adamant about, we may end up going with the spelling he is accustom to.
FTM and single mom-to-be, so I have no SO to talk with about names. My mom wants me to name her Annie Lynn, but I am really going to name DD Marie Elise
Re: What are you naming your baby!? :)
