Intro & Preg RIGHT AFTER D&C

Hi, all,
New to this board, previously of June '15 birth month club. We had our first ever BFP in October, EDD June 14th, after a year off the pill and 8 months of 'trying'. Sadly, development stopped at about 5w5d. Nothing was progressing in terms of miscarrying naturally so we finally opted for a D&C on November 12th at around 10 weeks.
We were advised to wait until after one normal cycle before trying again, but, we went on vacation over Thanksgiving and neglected to use any contraception. On December 19th, noticed my boobs were crazy sore. Didn't think much of it and thought I might just be gearing up for the AF from hell. Next day, went down to our unfinished basement to do laundry and almost doubled over from the smell that I had only previously noticed with my first pregnancy. Finally hit me over the head that I was almost 6 weeks post D&C, no period, pregnancy symptoms…maybe I should get a test. Took 4, including the fancy-schmancy ClearBlue w/ weeks estimator as I was trying to convince myself it was just 'leftover hormone'. ClearBlue spit back pregnant and 3+ (for those in the know, means 5 weeks +). Talk about a surprise!!
So, here we are, pregnant again and with a new EDD of August 19-22. First ultrasound isn't until 1/28/15 (grr). Feeling OK for the most part, but VERY stressed out thinking we didn't wait long enough and that there will be consequences. I keep reading that docs really only say the 'wait a cycle' thing so that they can date accurately, but, still makes me nervous!! Anyone out there ever get pregnant again so quickly after a MC/D&C? Would love some positive stories!!

BFP #1 August 24, 2013! MMC discovered Oct. 3, 2013, D&C Oct. 4, 2013
BFP #2 December 17, 2013! MMC discovered Jan. 28, 2014, D&C Jan. 30, 2014
Testing done: male with complete Trisomy 16, not hereditary. Tested me for clotting disorders, all normal.
Feb. 2014 all clear again to TTC! Will start progesterone supplementation with the next BFP just in case. Oct. 2014 more testing just because, thyroid and autoimmune panels = normal. Diagnostic U/S = no abnormalities. Will keep trying for 3-6 more months, doctor still optimistic!
BFP #3 December 11, 2014! Beta #1 14DPO = 122.4 Beta #2 17DPO = 296.8 Please stick little one and be our Rainbow!

Congrats! I actually got pregnant right after my second miscarriage in early October. I had no idea I was pregnant until the week before thanksgiving & I'm now 10 weeks along & the baby's a jumping jellybean

I got my BFP 5 weeks after my natural miscarriage with no period in between. So my story is different from a post-D&C story. I'm currently 17w6d everything is going wonderfully so far. I had a textbook miscarriage though where everything progressed normally without problems & hcg was followed to <5. My OB said we were clear to TTC again.

First off I'm new here and I'm trying to understand how all of this works. So if this is the wrong way of doing this kindly let me know
I might be in the same boat...not sure yet! I had a mmc in mid December. I was 9 weeks but only measuring 6ish. I tried cytotec but it never worked fully so I ended up having a D&C on January 6th. I had bleeding/spotting until January 15th and then it stopped. I went to see my doctor on the 22nd and was given the ok to start trying again. We've been doing the deed almost every night (sometimes more than once.) The next week I had cramps one evening which felt like ovulation cramps and I even half-jokingly said to my husband "these must be those ovulation cramps. Haha." Yesterday morning when I went to the bathroom I had slight spotting, more like just pinkish cm, what I think is implantation bleeding (like I had in my first pregnancy.) So I went and took a hpt after supper and got a (very faint) positive but none the less, it seems to be a positive! I'm not sure if I believe it or not though. I took another test this morning and it was slightly darker (but this time it was FMU) Are the chances high for this to actually be a new pregnancy? *crossing my fingers*
