Target redcard question...

In a few of the posts it talks about buy gift cards for things like diapers. If you buy a target gift card with your red card do you get 5% of the gift card amount? This is kind of a general question, not just about gift cards for diapers.

    Nope, you don't get 5% off of gift cards (whether target or if you buy other ones from the store)

    Also - if you use a gift card later on and your red card, you will only get 5% off the amount that goes on the red card, not the total.

    Definitely sign up for the registry though! Free coupons, samples and 10% off stuff you didn't receive on your registry

    Yes, totally free. You just sign up at the register or customer service. I believe you can get it as a credit card if you want, but I just have the debit card one that is linked directly to my bank acct and acts just like my regular debit card. Download the Cartwheel app too if you don't already have it - it is Target's app that has coupons on it.
