Good morning! It's been a while since I have been over here so I will do a short intro.. I am currently 17 weeks with my 2nd child, I do have a DS who is 7. I have also had a previous loss (before my DS)
So here is my question, I have felt some movement not constant but definitely there. I ended up getting buried in the snow (Saturday ) had to shovel a bit to get out and ever since I don't think I have felt as much movement as I have in the past weeks. Last night I had mild cramping and almost like a mild stabbing in my belly (not really painful just there). Now most of that is all gone but I still don't feel as much movement as I have. I hate to call the dr and seem like I am "overreacting".... I don't know what to do..what would you do?
I am sorry if this is a silly question but I just need some advice.. Thanks!
Re: worried something is wrong (short intro and loss mentioned ) UPDATE below
At 17 weeks the movements are not always consistent/felt. When I was 17 weeks I only felt flutters here and there. It was so I frequent I thought it could be gas lol
Now at almost 22 weeks I feel him a lot more and stronger than 5 weeks ago. He still doesn't have a consistent pattern , but it's wayyyy more than before.
I wouldn't worry too much. But with your loss, id be anxious too. If it makes you feel better, your doctor might be able to have to pop in and hear the HB on the doppler.
Don't worry about feeling like they might assume you are over reacting. This is your baby , and it's a long and anxious ride at times.
I bet the baby is doing just fine though.
I don't shovel anymore. I just try to get help from friends and if I cant, I'll hire someone if I have to.
I don't usually shovel while pregnant but seeing as we are being buried alive under snow where I live... LOL, I got stuck and my DH wasn't with me
I'm sorry for your previous loss & hope this feeling is nothing.

I really stress contacting your provider if you feel something isn't right. If anything the peace of mind is worth it.
Hope all is well with you and baby!
