  My parents will be Oma and Opa which is Dutch, my MIL is Grossi which is Swiss but my FIL goes by Poppa because the Swiss version of grandfather is too long for the kids to even attempt until they are older haha

  My mom is Nana and my MIL is Abuela. We relocated to the south and I have heard several new ones: mamaw, grandmammy/grandmommy, but my personal favorites are Honey and Sugar. I am already brainwashing my young children that I will be called one of those names when I am a grandma

  My kids have grandparents, step grand parents, and great grandparents. So we have lots of names. lol
  My mom is Nana
  My step mom is MiMi
  My MIL is Maw Maw
  My dad's mom is Granny
  My Moms mom is Weli (short for Abuela)
  My MIL's mom is grandma
  My FIL mom is Ama
  My friends mom is Memaw
  And another friends mom is GiGi
  
  Yeah. We have a lot. Lol

  My mom is going by Mimi. My MIL is Mormor, which is Swedish for mother's mother. Technically she should be Farmor since that's father's mother, but we all agree Mormor is prettier, plus we have a niece that's called her Mormor for years so it will be a lot less confusing!
