We are having a boy!! He is stubborn just like daddy! We got a scare the doctors saw a soft marker on his heart but when everything was checked he is a healthy boy and will grow out of it!
To our disappointment, the tech couldn't get a good read on any frontal anatomy including the sex as baby is feet down and chest in. Now sitting anxiously awaiting a call back for a cancellation in the city's busiest hospital for a repeat! The suspense is killing me!!
Had my follow up a/s this morning, everything looks just fine. They got the shots they couldn't last time. Baby is almost double the weight in just four weeks! 15oz. We have a cheeky little bugger on our hands. Flipped over half way through and just doesn't want to give us a good profile keepsake shot. At least we got a picture to take home this time, though. Go back in four weeks for a growth check u/s, since I'm overweight and they can't really do traditional things like fundal height measurements. But baby is right on track!
im having a girl , I'm really happy it was so easy to find out she just laying with her legs open i guess tired of dad calling boy had let him know lol o thought the cutest every where . but wanted he now is.
I had this done yesterday at my local community college at 15 weeks and 5 days. The Sonography program at the college was giving out free ultrasounds so the students could practice. the teacher is 95%-98% sure it's a boy. What do y'all think?
Just had mine last Monday and our Baby Cakes let us know he was a boy @ my 16 week ultrasound but it was really cool to see him again at the 20 week Anatomy Scan. Everything looked healthy(to me, Doctor will go over results at 24 week appointment), he has all his parts and measured where he should be for my due date (June 21).
I'm kind of new to this board, been reading a lot but this is my first post! Congrats to all the mommas!!!

We had ours today, the ultrasound tech wasn't able to get a couple shots so I will probably need a follow up. Doctor has to go over the measurements and call back, But the tech said she's 95% sure it's a girl she was squirming and we could see her moving around, it was so cute
I had mine a few weeks ago and, yes, it was very very cool! I was fascinated watching Baby's heart pump blood through her body and seeing the lobes the brain - amazing! I did Panorama, so I knew I was having a girl at 13 weeks, but it was still fun to confirm with her little tiny behind-sans-appendage.
@amooraxo yes it has been crazy on my body getting pregnant so quickly! My husband said we should just have them all this close together and I said NO!! But this was God's plan, so we are thrilled Everything feels like déjà vu from this time last year!
After a lengthy waiting period, and terrible experience twice with the ultrasound techs and the new hospital policy of no longer telling parents gender, our midwife called today to share that we are expecting a healthy baby boy Go team blue!
Had my scan a few weeks back now.. was nice to see our baby... but was really rushed.. saw the face and arms for 2 minutes. . And she did the rest.. felt like I didnt see my baby really .. didnt even get any pictures.. as she said baby was not in a good position.. babys legs were crossed .. but at the end she said she had uncrossed them and couldn't see any boy parts. . This was very important news for us as we have 3 boys.. the whole thing was rushed.. booked in for a private gender/3d scan at the weekend.. I can get some piccys then x
@xxmummyclairexx - it really sucks that it was rushed. They are supposed to be thorough and look in details at how things are progressing with baby. I hope you have a better experience at the private scan.
Well even though it looked like everything went well the first of the month we have to go back for another scan in a couple weeks since my doctor wasn't thrilled with the angles of her spine pictures and something else was blurry. Hoping to get a few more pictures of our little girl.
I'm new to The Bump so my post is way late, but my doctor (who seems to be super amazing as an ultrasound technician, too) was able to tell on Dec. 29th that we are having a girl. That was at 14 weeks. It was totally unexpected. And because I know there are skeptics out there who won't believe he could see it that early, he has since confirmed her sex 2 more times. 3903701986
Hi I just have a question? I did my anatomy scan at 20 weeks and 4 days they said it's a girl. But I went for 3d ultrasound and they said it's a boy. It is possible that the 1st Ultrasound is wrong? Or my 3d ultrasound? Pls need an advice.thanks
