26 weeks 4 days pregnant - I came home from work and found I was having some light red bleeding.. I went into the hospital, they monitored the baby for 2 hours, they told me to come back in the morning for an ultrasound. I went back this morning and had my ultrasound... baby was fine, he is moving lots, I haven't had any more bleeding, (I should also mention I haven't had any cramping at all). The doctor said could be placenta abruption but nothing could be seen on the ultrasound so they sent me home.. I am still kind of worried because I don't know why all of the sudden I was lightly bleeding for 2 hours? Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Should I be worried or is it just spotting that happens?
Re: Light bleeding - went to doctor but they couldn't tell me where it came from?
It's great that everything checked out well at the doctor. Maybe just take it easy for a few days to let your body recover. And of course, call your doctor if you have any more worries about this. That's what they're there for.
