How long did you wait to tell people?

I've only told a select few family members and very close friends. I'm 9w1d and want to shout it from rooftops!! Curious when you revealed the double good news...

My parents and sister knew I was going through another IVF cycle, so they were the only ones we told till my NT scan, which

was at 12 weeks. DD is only 15 months old, and now being pregnant with twins, I started showing early. I knew I had to announce

soon because it was starting to get a bit obvious.

At 5 months to relatives and friends, you are still at miscarriage risk after 3-4 months with twins according to RE so I didn't want to tell people right away and have something go wrong and have to talk about it

Are yours spontaneous? For mine we found out at 10 weeks and didn't tell anyone other than immediate family until we had a good ultrasound and maternit21 results back at 15 weeks. I wouldn't tell the public about twins until at least 2nd trimester (and at least 2 good ultrasounds).

I revealed on social media at about 14 weeks. At that point it was obvious to anyone who saw me in person anyway and I felt we were out of the danger zone. I told my family and co-workers (since it was impacting work and they knew about my IVFs and previous losses) at week 7.

Co-workers and boss knew right away since I was so sick and miserable. If I'm puking in my office on the clock, I figured they should know why!

We told a few close family members and friends over the holidays since I'm a beer lover and not drinking is a dead giveaway for me!

We became "facebook official" after our 13ish week ultrasound. It was our third ultrasound (found out it was twins at the 8 week ultrasound).

My boss, parents and close friends knew I was pg right away and I told them it was twins right away after my 7 wk ultrasound. Everyone else found it t thanksgiving, that was around 11/12 weeks.

I told family when we saw heartbeats around 6 weeks since everyone knew we had just done another if cycle. Posted on social media at 18 weeks when we found out the sexes. My work also knew early on because of doctor appointments and ne being really sick!

We worked really hard for our twins...so we were really nervous! We told our parents at 10 weeks. We started telling friends & family @ 12 weeks. I announced at work at ~13 works. Then I counted down to viability day (24 weeks)!!

We revealed we were pregnant at 11 weeks, thinking we were having 1! Had our first ultrasound (it's not my OB's practice to do early ultrasounds) at 13 weeks due to having had gastric bypass surgery. This is when we found out we were having twins! We put it out on social media right away.

I wanted to wait as long as possible, unfortunately I came down with Hyper Emesis Gravidarum at 6w and had to be hospitalized often. Sort of outted myself

We tried to hold off telling my husband's employer until we hit 12w, but again with all the hospitalizations it was sort of necessary. We had to tell his boss what was going on at 9w, after I'd been admitted twice already.
