Hi all, Like many I've been mostly lurking since the beginning, I just don't usually have time to keep up and contribute meaningful posts. I'm Kami, 32 yo and this will be our third baby girl. My other two are 4 and 5, and pretty excited about the new little one. She is due Mar 30 but I will be having a repeat C-section probably Mar 23. I am a veterinarian in the Army, currently working in research in the (not so) great state of Maryland. My husband gets to be a stay-at-home-dad for the time being.
@allychase - I've been here too and I've learnt a lot from reading the threads. Call me sensitive or whatever but I wasn't prepared to post for fear of a backlash. Even today I thought twice about starting a thread. Don't know what's happened but it feels a lot calmer on here now- perhaps more previous lurkers will feel more confident to contribute now x
I have been a member of this board for a while, but just haven't ever introduced myself. I was offline for about 3 weeks (we moved into a new home and even after we got internet, I was too busy trying to unpack/get the house in order to get online while at home) and it looks like I missed a lot. I have NO idea what happened, but I am glad to see that there appears to be a cut down on the snarky comments and hateful comments.
I am 34 years old, pregnant with my 2nd daughter after 2 years of infertility treatments. I have a (just turned) 6 year old and am due with little sister on 3/26. Excited to be on the home stretch and excited to meet this sweet baby girl!
I have to say that my personal experience on here has been positive. I have received tons of support when I needed it. I backed off for a little while, I was afraid to contribute to something, because The tone on here had become pretty harsh. Although most of the regulars were helpful , intelligent women ... There were a couple that only seemed to pop up when they had something mean to say. I miss seeing the regulars that were here to help, and have a positive experience. I don't miss all the negativity or back and forth arguments. Hopefully some of them will come back

LOL. The regs have moved on to create a thriving community with post counts far far higher than this old place. The "negativity" is gone because none of the drive-bys came along. I feel confident enough to say that nobody who has left here will be returning. Many have requested account deletions. Enjoy the new Bump, it's all yours.
I havent been on here for a while. But while im thinking about it, i dnt think i even introduce myself from the beginning. My bad.
Im Danielle. Im 23 years old and pregnant with my 4th baby.. i have a 5 yo boy, a 2 yo girl, and a 13 month old boy. And we're expecting our 2nd little girl March 31st. Name Xiemena Luz. I Live in Tennessee. Im a stay at home mommy and my husband is in the poultry business. We've been together for almost 9 years now. But only married for 2. :x Hope eveyone continues with a safe pregnancy and cant wait to see all the little newborns pics on here soon.
@stine28 That's what I was talking about ! I didn't trash anybody , and I'm thankful for the advice I've received. Did you also notice I didn't blame regulars or drive by's for the negativity ? I just said there was a lot of arguments. I don't miss the fighting. I'm glad you enjoy your new community. Take care
@allychase , I do miss a lot of the regulars who left. We lost a lot of smart and funny women ! It's true, a lot of people popped up with unintelligent questions, or just to "stir the pot" There just got to be so much fighting on here Sad it went this way, especially so far into this. I just hope everyone can have a fun, positive experience in the few weeks we have left
Hello. Happy to reintroduce. I'm Kris, this is my second child. I'm 34 years old and 34 and 4 days along. This is the longest I've been pregnant, my first was born at 33 weeks. I live in Hawaii, born and raised - husband as well. I'm currently a SAHM, but was a teacher previous to being married. My husband is an engineer. We are expecting on March 18th, but at this point I'm just ecstatic to have hit 34 weeks!!! This pregnancy has been scary, I've been on pelvic rest, bedrest, and getting weekly shots in my ass (progesterone, not fun ). Looking forward to a normal, healthy, regular delivery this time!
Born and raised in Hawaii. I always just assumed your husband was military. You definitely have my respect. I can't imagine being on bedrest with a child at home.
Our little girl is very quiet and enjoys playing Legos and puzzles. She really makes things easier on me. Plus, I'm very lucky that my MIL is retired and lives 30 minutes away. She loves coming over and spending time with her only grandchild.
I've never introduced myself though I've posted a couple times. My name is Liz, I'm 24 and from Dayton Ohio. My husband and I are expecting a little girl on March 15. However at our last doctor visit we were informed that I am several centimeters dilated, my cervix has completely thinned out and the mucus plug is gone so she will probably be here soon. Since I am now 35 weeks my doctor is refraining from taking further measures to prevent early labor aside from weekly visits and as much bed rest as I can get. Hopefully we can hold out a little longer but we are very excited to meet our baby!

This is exactly why I started this post. I still want to try to have some type of support system for everyone that's still here.

FX for you and your little girl! Keep us updated. Hope everything goes smoothly for you!
My name is Chelsea, I'm 19 and from the UK. I live on the coast in a beautiful town called South Shields. I'm a first time mum and I'm also going to be a single parent. I'm due with my little boy, who I'm going to be calling Leo, on 13th March... Super excited!
I am also a student studying Professional Health Studies, which I return to in Septemeber!
Wishing you all a happy and easy remainder of your pregnancies!
Hi, all! I'm Jae. I'm 26, from Indiana, and a SAHM to two toddlers, a 3yo girl and a 2yo boy. I am due with baby #3, also a girl, on March 6th, but might not make it that long! Had early contractions two days ago but no dilating so was sent home after some shots to stop contractions and some fluids!
I'm earning a BS in IT, and my husband is a sales support manager for a sporting goods company. I am a longtime lurker- have been around since 2011 when I got pregnant with our first little girl. Nice to meet you all officially!
I've posted a few times but mostly have lurked trying to figure out the vibe of this forum.
I'm 28, work for the legal department at the state environmental agency writing the states regulations. I have been married for 8 years in May to the most wonderful husband I could ask for.
I am a first time mother, my baby boy is due March 16th, but I will not likely make it that far. Although I am grateful for him and this pregnancy I've been plagued with complications. I am type 2 diabetic been on insulin shots since second trimester. Then, it was discovered at 18 weeks that I had a short cervix after monitoring it continued to shorten so I had an emergency cerclage placed (two stiches). I've been in bed rest ever since with hospital stays sprinkled in. At 32 weeks cervix dilated again but is so far holding strong (knock on wood).
Not here to engage in the fights, if I have something to contribute that I think can help I will.
I can reintroduce. My name is Amanda, I'm 33 and 35 weeks/3 days. My husband I will be welcoming a our first baby (girl) on March 13th, which is his bday. We live in MA and we have been together since HS (17yrs) and have a dog and cat. I am typical type A, never sits down so as I near the end of this pregnancy I'm finding it hard to do anything.

Ohh congratulations! Hopefully she stays a bit longer... I just moved from Dayton (to Columbus) a few years ago... What hospital are you delivering at? I had DS at Kettering
Hi! I'm Jodi! I'm a first time mommy and my little boy is due March 4th! His name is Joshua. After a over a year of trying, our miracle is finally only a few weeks from being here. My husband and I live in Northern Virginia with our sweet little Maltese. She can't wait for her little brother either! I am an elementary teacher. I teach fourth grade this year but Kindergarten will always be where my heart is. I'm very blessed to get to take off the rest of the school year when baby comes!
I was fairly active on this board at the beginning of my pregnancy but sort of faded back into the shadows.. So, I guess I'll re-introduce myself as well.
I'm a soon to be SAHM from Montana with the sweetest little girl who is about to turn two next week (*sobs*).. We're expecting a little boy this time around and I am equal parts excited and terrified. I've been in a self-imposed house arrest since after Christmas due to my extreme fear of catching that nasty flu in the last leg of my pregnancy and I have a serious case of cabin fever. Like, tempted to throw caution to the wind and hop the next flight to Kauai and deliver this kid on the beach.
Looking forward to being a bit more active on here and getting to know some some of you.
@KD32412@amyandjay. It's nice to not feel like the old one. Thanks
I should have also included that I have been on the bump since 2009 - when we started trying to have our son, but chasing him around does not leave a lot of time to be a super frequent poster, especially since he stopped taking an afternoon nap.
@Ambethsco My husband and I stayed a couple summers in Montana. I loved every second of it! He was a woodland firefighter and I got to just enjoy fishing and hiking around the buttes. We stayed in a very small town named Ekalaka. Have you ever heard of it?
Thanks for the reintroduction! And thank you to everyone else who has taken the time to make an introduction. I hope we can all continue to support each other for the next month and a half or so!
I'm Amber, in t-minus 28 days I will be a first time mom to a little boy! I hit 36 weeks yesterday, and I've had a fairly easy pregnancy. I'm 26 years old, SO is 23. I work with children, he works on marine mechanics I am somewhat heavily tattooed, in to all kinds of music, and love summer. I'm so excited to become a mother after working with children for the last 7 & 1/2 years!
ETA- his name will be Kade Justin-Thomas, middle names are after late younger brother & my father (:
Hi, I'm Jenni. I am a long time lurker I have never introduced myself for fear of my stalker finding me on here. I am a second time mom due march 25 to a little girl. My pregnancy has been fairly boring this time so not a lot to start posts about but I try to be supportive when I have experience to share.
Hey everyone! My name is Natasha and I'm totally coming out of Lurksville for the past 7 months. I'm 26, FTM and due with a little girl on March 13. I'm a wedding planner and my husband is a video game producer. We live in Los Angeles with our 3 cats and can't wait to meet our tiny babe!
Hello all! I'm Melodie - a long time lurker and mobile user who has very much appreciated the great convos on here and I love this thread as we're all getting so close to the big day! I'm a 32 yo lawyer living in Mississauga Ontario, and a FTM expecting our baby boy around March 26!
Hello. I am a 39 yo FTM, 34 weeks with a baby boy, living in Malibu, CA. I just moved to CA recently and, even though the cross-country move was difficult while pregnant, am loving the warm weather here. Previously I lived in Louisville, KY and Cincinnati, OH. I am a healthcare provider but have decided to be a SAHM and am no longer working. I have three great step-children that are in college, so the only ones left in the house are my husband and I with our two rescue fur-babies, Tilly (Shepherd) and Peabody (Pitbull).
I'll reintroduce as I posted on a super limited basis the last few months. I'm 37 in a few weeks, live in Los Angeles, CA and expecting our second baby girl on March 24th. My first is 3 years and 8 months and SO excited to be a big sister. Every time I go shopping she is picking stuff out for her sister, it's heart melting. Excited to try to become s more regular part of this community! I am still super tight with the bmb I had with my first daughter, so I'm hoping this is more of the same.
Hi! I'm Andrea and a FTM at 28. I'm a teacher and currently on and off bed rest due to contractions since 29 weeks. We are having a little boy that is due March 20th and we can't wait to meet him!
Hello my name is Angel. I am 34 years old and I am 35 weeks pregnant with boy/boy twins due March 15th. I have a 5 year old son as well. I am an actress and online host of a "mom" show on YouTube and my hubby is a building engineer. Finding out we were pregnant with twins was a HUGE surprise but we are grateful that this pregnancy like my first has been text book. Now we are just praying that our delivery is the same. My doctor is going to let me go into labor naturally so no telling when these babies will get here. Regardless I am glad we have made it so far! Nice to meet everyone.

I'm from KY (Louisville & Lexington) but I have been living in Los Angeles for 9 years now. How are you liking the change of scenery and weather?
Hi, I am a FTM and our baby girl is due March 27th. I will be 29 next month and live in Maine. I work full time in insurance and I am finishing up my MBA this year, hopefully before the baby is toddling around! My husband, 2 kitties (Ben & Jerry) and I are very excited to start this new adventure!
Hi, I am Angela. My husband and I are expecting our first baby on March 26, a little boy we have named Dominic. I work as a project manager for a large health insurance company. I currently live in MD but am originally from NH and will be moving back there in 2016. Pregnancy has been rough so far which is scary being a FTM but I wouldn't trade a single ER trip for feeling him move every morning. I swear he is a morning baby to help get me out of bed!

Mine is the exact opposite! I am a morning person (military DH that gets up at 4:40 every morning) but my little boy has a dance party in my belly every night! I have been sleeping until 8-9 am every morning which really throws me off, but I'm trying to enjoy the sleep while I can
Hey! My name is Jessica, and I'm a FTM at 27 years old. We're 36 weeks today, and we are Team Green! I'm a high school math teacher, married for over two years, and have two dogs and two cats. I'm planning to be a SAHM, maybe babysit and/or tutor. My husband is a middle school math teacher. We're hoping for a Pi Day baby since we're such math nerds! I've been very lucky to have had such an easy pregnancy thus far. I haven't been very active on here myself, but I check regularly to get ideas. Can't wait to see more birth announcements!

29, FTM in southern CA. Due March 19th. We are team green, so looking forward to the surprise!
I'm a high school Biology teacher, so I always get a kick out of the "shit people say to you" threads. High school students have absolutely no filter!
Thanks for the reintroduction! And thank you to everyone else who has taken the time to make an introduction. I hope we can all continue to support each other for the next month and a half or so!
