I realize that the community that was here took a hard blow and many reg members left, newbs joined, and some lurkers came out of the shadows - I'm not saying anything surprising here.

Some, if not many, may have already introduced themselves, however, others haven't and I think it would be nice if we could just do a quick re-intro/1st intro on this thread.

I'm Christina. I'm an immunology researcher/public health grad student and I'm applying to medical school this year which is currently (in addition to the baby) consuming my life. I'm married, my husband is an aerospace medical physician (yea that is a real specialty), and we have a little boy who just turned seven.

I'm due March 10 with a *GIRL* yay! & l am going on maternity leave in a couple weeks, but I am stuck in bed a lot more at the moment so I can finally be on this forum a lot more too (@chelseeea)

Hello, my name is Jenni. I've been around but I'll re-introduce myself. I'm 30 years old with an almost four year old daughter and expecting boy/girl twins. My due date is March 11th but baby a is breech so I'm having a csection on February 26th. My wonderful husband goes to work each day and comes home to take care of me and daughter. His weekends are spent moving furniture and cleaning, so lucky to have him.

Hi, I am a 32 year old teacher in central California (originally a mortgage professional from San Diego, but when we moved it was easier to start a new career rather than make new connections). This is our first sticky pregnancy after 3 miscarriages. After 10+ years of not preventing, trying, fertility treatments, and subsequently taking a break to do IVF next year we got surprise boy/girl twins. It has been a rough pregnancy due to gall bladder surgery, twins, and preeclampsia, but I am excited to meet our babies in 3 weeks (doctors won't let me go past 37 weeks because they feel it isn't safe). My husband is a sheriff's deputy in the next county over and a navy reservist.

Wow what a ride... congratulations... I have seen from your other posts that your stuck in the hospital but I bet your so excited after all that time to be 3 weeks away!!

Wow what a ride... congratulations... I have seen from your other posts that your stuck in the hospital but I bet your so excited after all that time to be 3 weeks away!!

Actually they let me out. I was able to convince them that I would be better off of bedrest at home. So they took me off of all monitoring and meds, let me do some walking, and since I actually had lower blood pressure that when the constant monitoring was on they released me home for bedrest and 2 NST's a week. Be an advocate for yourselves ladies. It works. Sometimes doctors don't know best.

Definitely a better part of california than I am in. My husband was just asking me if we could go to monterey for a day before the babies are born (I don't think he quite understands the seriousness of preeclampsia and how lucky I am the doctors let me go home). Congrats on your maternity leave!

@finallyourturn2‌ , I was born in this area. This is where my family is from. However, I grew up in Modesto... YUCK ! I moved back here when I was having my first because I just love it here. The schools really teach kids an appreciation for the environment , wildlife, and I love that !

Rest! Monterey will be here when those little ones come ! I can give you info on some neat spots for kids out here when you do come

I am a high school counselor and my husband is a police officer. We are both from the northwest(Washington state) but we have been in Texas since 2008 so this has become home now. Hmm what else can I say??? We love sports, watching and playing, and I can't wait to get back to the gym routine and playing soccer after this baby.

I've been around but never properly introduced myself sorry! These forums are new to me and have just used them for this pregnancy. I really appreciate all the advice and support from my Bump March mummy's! My name is Katie 27yo, 35 weeks with girl FTM. Our due date is 17th of March. I'm from Brisbane Australia. Can't wait to get into a healthy eating and exercise routine when baby arrives..also plan inning a wedding this year for October 3rd! Will be a very busy but exciting 2015! I'm a clinical nurse and I'm taking a year off with baby.

I was soo excited to find out I was pregnant as our doctor thought we would have fertility issues due to my endometriosis. Has been a lot tougher road this pregnancy than I realised though as I had extreme nausea from 7 to 17weeks which thankfully has gone away completely. Now I have lower back pain and sciatica like a lot of you other ladies!

My fiancé and I have our regular obstetrician appointment this morning and checking size of baby I'm always measuring a couple of weeks ahead! Then we are off to the beach for a week for a babymoon before buba arrives! Can't wait to see her now eeek! Xox

I've been a long time lurker. I've only posted once or twice. But I'll finally introduce myself.

Due date is March 22nd .. Though I think that's a few days early, but who really knows right?

This is our second. A little boy. Our first is a 4 year old precious girl. I'm a SAHM primarily, but occasionally I'll work at a nursery or work as a nanny. I'm also a certified dog trainer, an active equestrian, and have been married for nearly six years to my best friend.

Born and raised in Hawaii. I always just assumed your husband was military. You definitely have my respect. I can't imagine being on bedrest with a child at home.
