Tell us about your baby names!

I've been thinking long and hard about names. My sisters and I all have powerful spiritual meanings behind our names. (Trinity, Rhema Israel & Victory Faith)
In the bible God would change someones name in order to fulfill their calling. I want my childs name to have power but at the same time not sound ridiculous.
For a boy I'm thinking: Aziel Ryker which means God is my power & strength
For a girl: Millie June which means Strength, June was the name of my great grandmother & she was the strongest woman I knew, she passed away from ovarian cancer a few years ago.

I'm about 11 weeks along now. We are having trouble with boy names. For a girl, we are set on Cecelia Belle. I love Greyson Dean for a boy, and hubby did, too, but he is unsure bc he knows someone with that last name. I have searched and searched for another name that we both love but have come back empty. I do have some time, though.

I'm not in the camp that thinks names should be matchy in sibling sets....

My husband and I both have names that start with D and our son as well, even though that wasnt the reason. DH really wanted to name him that after his god-father and I liked the name as well- now we're kind of in a dilemma because if this baby has a different first initial I wonder if it will bother him/her later on? Like why am I the oddball? I don't know maybe its silly but our girl name is with an L and if its another boy I think it will be with D again....

Due August 1st with my 3rd. (Baby no 6 between us) if we have a girl she will be called Anastasia Sophia Francesca if it's a boy Roman Jameson Paul.

This is our last baby. If a boy it will be a junior a girl would be Avery with an A middle name either Ann (like me) or Alexis or Alexandra or something similar to her half sisters middle name (Alexia)

I think, in your case, it would be a bit odd to not have a D name. I'm sure you will find the perfect name, though. Names are HARD!!

Boy names are SUCH a struggle! The only boy name H and I agreed on was Harper... Which seems to be more commonly used for girls now.

What do you think of Harper for a boy?!

My husband and I just found out this week, through genetic blood testing, that we are having a healthy baby boy. MIke is SO EXCITED. I just knew it would be a girl, but not this time. We are going with Henry William. If it were a girl, Sophia Florence.

We love Jade for a girl, but struggle with a middle name... Do you mind sharing your daughter's middle name?

We are having a boy August 1!! My grandmother's maiden name is Pierson. This was to be my babies name no matter what for the last few years. So Pierson it will be! Middle name Blaine after my husband, or Zane. I never should've looked at this thread because now I'm thinking of a thousand different middle names!/

Will he go for Rayn instead? I have a niece named Tayler Rayn. A friend's daughter is Magnolia Jane (they call her MJ and Maggie) and another friend's daughter is Willow Rain.

We are thinking Zoe Rae or Charlotte for a girl, and the only boy name we can agree on for now is William. Nothing final, but we find out tomorrow what we are having!

We are naming ours Autumn Lane.

Fall is my husband's and my favorite season. It's when we started dating, fell in love, and the season we got in engaged, and then later married.... Also, our best friend in college was named Audrey Lane. We like that the names are similar

Brynleigh Trachelle for a girl (leigh is my middle name, DH mothers name is Tracy, and my mothers name I is Michelle)
Makai Charles for a boy (Charles is DH father's name and deceased brother's name and coincidentally my father and brother's middle name)

My husband and I just found out we are having a girl and it has been difficult to come up with some girl names. Our top contenders are scarlett, sayla, charlotte and charlize.

I think we have agreed on sayla but don't know the spelling yet. My husband wants to spell it Ceyla. Don't know if I'm sold yet but it's growing in me.

Any suggestions on the spelling or middle names???

We are still widdeling down our list but I think for a girl our front runner is Eleanor Sage. I'm having trouble committing because my husband and I both liked Eleanor before we were pregnant and I mentioned the name to my mom and she didn't care for it. We are very close and her opinion matters to me. I also wanted the middle name to be Ann which is my moms middle name but it just didn't sound right. Sage is a restaurant that my husband and I love and we took our parents to every year including the first time they met.
For a boy we like Logan, Landon and Matthew to name a few. Middle name either Richard (which is my husbands, fathers and brother in laws middle name) or cole (his moms maiden name was Coleman)

I was thinking Willowlynn as a first name for a girl is it to much or hard to pronounce? Our last name is Taylor so it doesn't really match. For a boy we haven't decided because my husband wants Anakin... I love Star Wars but for a kids name I am not that fond of it.

We are going for Cooper Scott if it's a boy (my husband has a cousin Scott and my dad's middle name is Scott)...

And something with Alice as a middle name for a girl (his grandmother's middle name)...hubby shoots down most of my picks, but we so far have agreed on Harper, so Harper Alice...? I'm just not set on Harper though, I like way more feminine names like Sadie, Charlotte, Lydia, Violet (no takers from hubby there)...

Any ideas on a first name that pairs well with Alice? No "L" names, I don't like the idea of an alliterated name, lol.

Beckham sounds like more of a last name to me, so I personally wouldn't use it. Sorry, I don't have any other suggestions...it took us forever to come up with and agree on a boys name too lol.

I have a girlfriend who wanted to name her son Beckham, but her hubby veto'd it. They eventually named him Beckett. He goes by "Beck" most of the time.
