I understand that. I did that with my first especially since I thought he would be my only. i named him Jalen Bryson Omar because I loved them all and like I said thought he would be the only....sike 8 years later lol
We haven't come up with any serious names yet, my partner loves the idea of naming the baby after musicians as we are both huge music fans. He calls the baby (which he is convinced is a boy) little Strummer, after Joe Strummer from The Clash, but I keep assuring him that will never happen.
His other favourite name choice is Dekker which I don't hate quite as much... But I will say they are both improvements from the last few years of trying to convince me to name our firstborn "Nesta" to fulfill his Rastafarian obsession.
I have alias for a boy and Delilah for a girl those names have been set for years lol. My 2nd my s.o first baby. I may change it I'm not sure about the girl name he's set on it though
My god, according to the trolls everyone should be named Bob or Sue, Sarah or Paul.
Starbucks misspells my name (emily) every time. I say pick a name you love and forget the haters. Unless you're naming your kid orangejello. Please don't do that.
Fun Fact: Starbucks employees are told to misspell even the most simple of names - Why? So we all think it's funny, take a pic, and post it to our social media. Great FREE marketing/advertising for them!
We aren't completely decided, but we keep going back to Whittaker (Whitt) Sheppard or Whittaker Aaron for a boy. Seraphina (Sera) for a little girl, though we love Whittaker Sheppard so much that my husband suggested we use it for either gender. I have to think about that one, but at least we are getting somewhere with the naming process.
I think I commented on this post a while ago with names but hubby I and I discussed it more and things changed a bit...for a girl we are set on Hannah Adelaide and for a boy we are kind of set on Ezra Marshall (Ezra being biblical and Marshall after hubby's father).
Since we'd been trying for a while we have names picked out. Matthew Robert Jr. or Ruby Ann.. Ruby was my grandmother's nickname and Ann is both of our mothers middle names so excited!
I love the name Ruby, and suggested it to my husband, but he didn't like it with our last name (Rice). I have a 6 year old named Scarlett Rose, so I thought it would have fit well if she had a sister. But I guess he has a point about our last name not ringing with it. Sigh.
We had names before we ever even thought we'd get pregnant. James Conrad for a boy (both family names) and the girl will be a Rebecca for either her first or middle name (nothing to do with my name being Rebecca, but I really want to name her after the woman I was named for, who is my great grandmother and my favorite person on Earth)... I'm thinking Rebecca Francis (DH's grandmother's name) and calling her "Frankie".
I am the legal guardian of a little girl with one of these names. I just can't believe how many people KEEP using them year after year. I saw my kids name multiple times on this thread.
Most people laugh at the names we picked but here goes... Boy: D'Artangan (Guillermo-for my BIL who died) Rivera Girl: Erza Scarlett Rivera
I wouldn't laugh, but I would admit that I would need to have asked the pronunciation of the boy name. However, I'm kind of partial to Scarlett. I have a 6 year old Scarlett Rose that I love to pieces.
If we have a boy it will be William Jeffrey after my husband (Jeffrey is my dads name) we would either call the baby Wil or Liam because my husband goes by Bill. And if it's a girl we both like Ella or Zoey. I also really like Leo for a girl, but DH isn't too sure on it. I think it would be sweet with a super girly middle name. Boy or girl we are so excited!!!
We have Gage, Zane, and Jace picked out for a boy but SO says middle name has to be Ray, and just not sure I like any of those with Ray. Absolutely no clue on First name for a girl, but middle name will be Lynn.
DH and I had two girls names picked out when we adopted our DD. We went with Isabelle Marielynn for her so if this one is a girl, she will be Alexis Grace. We finally agreed on Oliver Michael for a boy.

Well the first name is just like the Three Musketeer (dar tan Yun) and the middle name is Spanish so I am ok with that because I had a hard time pronouncing it at first but it's really special and I wouldn't change it. It means a lot to my MIL. (My BIL was 16 when he passed)
Hudson jack for a boy and we really loved harper zia for a girl BUT apparently harper is extremely popular! So no to that... Maybe a month name, flower name, or Quinn or Ophelia. Violet is my favorite but dh is not sold!
Marcella JoElle for a girl. (family names) Boy is still up in the air.. I like Crosby or Hudson, middle name LeRoy (family name, as well). DS is Nolan Ray. I probably wont get much input from DH until we find out what were having!
So I have been reevaluating my list. My son has a very biblical name- Noah Christian- and we are thinking about following suit and picking a biblical name for this one as well. For a boy, I love both Abram and Abraham. Opinions??
I'd love some creative help from anyone willing to offer it... Back story:My grandmother on my Mom's side was tragically killed in a traffic accident in '08. Her name was Helen Myrlene. An amazing woman! My brother has had 3 kids since then, all boys. It's been my dream to find a way to incorporate one of her names if I end up having a girl. I don't want to stretch Myrlene too far into something its not but realize it's definitely an old old fashioned name. I know there are some of you who might be able to help give me some ideas! Our last name inital is an H .Thanks! First names we like : Kate, Kathryn, Elizabeth.

I'm familiar with Guillermo and it is great. I love passing on a name of honor, too. :-)
