I am 19 years old and 15 weeks pregnant. This was not planned at all, but I am so happy! It was hard at first because there are a lot of things I've had to give up but I am starting to learn this is what was meant for my life and I'm gonna be the best mommy I can be!!
I would like to hear from other young mom's and hear what struggles you guys are facing or have faced!
Re: Any young mom's out there?
I am also dealing with gestational diabetes, that was a huge struggle at first, but now I'm getting the hang of it. I just hope I won't have to take insulin.
That's all we can do though dear, do what we must to make sure we will have a healthy, and happy baby.
our main struggle has been trying to find somewhere to live! We're currently living with my partners parents and as much as it was convenient before we were expecting it really isn't now! Plus neither of us are working at the moment and figuring out what benefits and help we can get is so So so confusing!!! On a different note My morning sickness has only just stopped! Haha!
We just can't wait to meet our little one!
Good luck!

Breastfeeding is very hard and stressful have formula on hand. I sent my husband at 2 am to get formula because I couldn't do it. The sleep deprivation was hard.
Talk to your partner about baby blues and post pardum. Make sure they know the signs ad watch you. I had baby blues and didn't know it until months later when my husband told me.
Get an epidural especially if you are being induced. I hated my first labour and now that I am older I look back on first baby and think oh how I was young. I resisted the pain.
If you are close with your mom or a sister have them stay with you for a few days until you get the hang of it. I called my mom at 1 am my first night home. My baby was only 2 days old and I hadnt slept yet. She didn't sleep for 2 years.
I love that now I am 28 with an 8 year old. I found that we grew together and she's a great help. I am pregnant with my third and she is so excited she is on the journey with us.
Enjoy every stage!
P.s. we get to find out the sex of the baby later today!!
I'm 26.....I wouldn't say I'm old........
Thanks! lol! I was starting to feel like it!
I haven't found anything really to be hard except for we've lost a lot of friends so far due to us not always throwing parties anymore or always wanting to go out since we've both taken on more hours at work but at the end of the day we are both extremely excited and happy !

Full time. I love knowing that he's a good father already. This is my first so I feel like I will be learning a whoooole lot.
We weren't quite expecting a baby this soon, especially since I was on bc pills. I was going to wait till we were a little more financially stable. We're definitely exited though! It'll be a little difficult, but I'm not afraid. We've never struggled too much to put food on the table and keep the utilities on, so I think we'll be ok! My husband is looking for a better job right now too.
I think it's kinda cool that I won't be too old when my baby's grown.
I find that because I'm in my last year of college where we're doing twice the work we did last year, I fear I won't finish/pass my course and the course doesn't finish until 6 days before I'm due!! But I've decided I will go through the stress and hassle of finishing the course so that I have qualifications to fall back on and it isn't easy, although it's made me stop worrying about the judgemental hating pricks out there!
