Are you feeling movement? How often?

So I'm about 16 weeks and for the last I would say week or so I have been feeling him move around a little bit. It seems to be more frequent when I go to the movies and at night. I know it's movement because this is #2, but what I'm not remembering is how often you feel movement when it's so early. Some days he'll be going nuts and others I might feel one little bump if I'm lucky. Anyone else feeling the little flutters? How often?

  • I believe I'm feeling movements. It doesn't feel like gas bubbles or anything like that, an I'm just confident that I'm feeling movement. It feels like little bumps, but there is no pattern.  It's neat when it happens though. I can't wait for when DH is able to feel it too

  • I'm 18 weeks today and have been feeling movement since 16 weeks. It is getting more frequent and more powerful but there really is no pattern. I would say about 3-5 times a day I feel movements. And each of those times I feel movements for about 2 mins at a time.

  • I'm almost 18 weeks and haven't felt anything yet. But the u/s tech said that my placenta is anterior and that I might not feel real, identifiable movements until I'm 20-21 weeks.

  • I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow with #2, and I THINK I've felt something? I just can't be sure because it's so few and far between, and it'll be like one thump, then nothing for days. I plan on asking my OB tomorrow at my appointment since I thought I'd feel this one earlier since it's my second go around.

  • I am 14 weeks and have been feeling the baby since 12 weeks. I was feeling the baby like clock work every 2 hours and I was getting highly annoyed since the baby is so lil the random sharp kicks and pokes hurt. Sooo I started talking to the baby and playing music for him/her and that seems to be working.

Now I feel the baby when I eat, I think it's doing a happy dance lol. I also feel the baby randomly n the middle of the night if he/she doesn't like the position I am n (it wakes me up).

My kids r demanding before they come out!

Mine is this exactly! Right before bed or at the movies. Baby goes crazy especially when I am relaxed in bed! I love it
  • I felt the baby since 15 and a half weeks. It would always poke my stomach out in the morning and night time when i wasnt moving. I could only feel him pushing out my stomach.  I really couldn't feel any movement until now. I can feel him wriggling around and yesterday I felt a HUGE kick so I put my hand on my stomach and felt two more kicks on my hand!! IT was so amazing. FTM!

  • 18 weeks don't feel anything yet
  • FTM 15 weeks and I don't feel anything yet either. I also have an anterior placenta and my doctor said I might not feel anything until 20-22 weeks. Such a bummer I am really looking forward to feeling my baby move around. It seems like it would be reassuring to know baby is alive and well.
  • STM 18 weeks... have been feeling baby since about 16 weeks (with my first I didn't feel anything until 19 weeks)

Mostly feel baby in the evening and when eating (especially sweets!) Started as little pops here and there and now I can feel definite pokes/jabs

  • I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow and have felt movement since about 16 weeks. I'm not sure I really notice a pattern. But I do seem to notice more movement during the afternoons and evenings. While listening to baby's heart at the doctors office, we could also hear baby moving around. Funny I couldn't feel those movements at the time. I can't wait until my husband can feel them!
  • I am 17 weeks and I havent really felt anything. I found out today that I have an anterior placenta. I cant wait to start feeling those kicks! ♡♡♡
  • I'm 16 weeks today. Yesterday I felt movement on my left side. It almost felt like a muscle spasm and happened every few seconds for bout 15 mins. Is it normal for the baby to choose a side ? I expected it to be more centralized ! Thanks everyone and congrats
  • I'm 17w and I have been feeling baby since week 13. Its everyday early in the morning and usually after I eat. This is my fourth baby and its awesome dh can feel as well. I know once you can feel constant movement you are suppose to count and it's 10 movements within 2 hours.
  • I've felt random movement for about 3 weeks now but with in the last week it's gotten more regular. Last night it was moving around for an hour..and more frequent today !

  • I felt it pretty early10 weeks im 16 weeks and :) it usually does its own thing early morn and night time are it's favs it also picks the left side to chill and if you grab my belly with both hands kinda feel around you can feel how it pushes your hands back pretty cool they always say the second moves faster and shows quicker with my first at 13 weeks was the first movement and she loved afternoon after dinner to flip and put her head or butt in the middle of my ribs and boobs lol so weird!
  • I am 18 weeks and have been feeling movements sporadically. Usually in the evenings when I'm relaxed and sometimes in the middle of the nigh!
  • I'm 16 weeks and FTM. I have been feeling little flutters every once in a while but recently the baby has been going crazy kicking and poking. At first it was so exciting but now it's so often and at night when I'm trying to sleep that it keeps me up. I guess I should get used to not sleeping now...LOL!
  • I'm 17 weeks and at 15 weeks I felt some twitching so that might have been the baby but I haven't felt it since so we'll see.
  • I'm 15 weeks and feel the baby here and there not everyday. If I am sitti down during the baby's moving time I can feel it. That's between 10-12 at work i feel the baby the most because I sit a lot. But when I am home I rarely feel the baby because I am on the go all day with my other 2 kids. I can't wait for consistent kicking!
  • Im almost 15 weeks with number three and I have been feeling movements since about mid week 12. Today they were stronger than ever before :)
  • I am 18 weeks with my fourth not feeling anything yet. All my other babies were around 20 weeks.
  • I'm almost 15 weeks, haven't felt any movement yet but I can't wait!!

17 weeks I feel my baby normally before I go to bed or I'm the morning once I wake up. It's my first so it took me a while to Identify . I feel so much joy when I feel him or her :x
  • This is my first and believe it or not, I've been feeling Peanut since I was 8 weeks! I thought it was gas since people were telling me it's way too soon. But now, at fifteen weeks, I feel the same flutters except very often; especially after I've eaten. Early on, it was like butterflies in my tummy. Now, it's more like a fish flopping. It tickles and I can't help but to gently scratch my belly when it does happen. It's the best feeling ever!
  • I started feeling them at 15 weeks . now I feel her often and she is much stronger. ( this is baby #5)
  • Lots of movement these days!  Really anytime I lay on my side or flat on my back.  Last night baby was all over the place.

  • 18 weeks tomorrow. And maybe a little movement a couple times but nothing too distinctive just yet.
  • I'm 16 weeks and Ive felt the baby since 14 weeks but barely, but now it's getting stronger. It's amazing, sometimes I feel the baby move , while lying down and it all of a sudden demands my attention. Just makes me realize what a precious gift to have and to experience!!! I am so grateful! :)
  • I'm 18 weeks 5 days with my second, and have been feeling baby move on a regular basis now for almost a week.
  • I just turned 15wks and i think I've been feeling him/her today. . Just kinda feels odd so im still unsure
  • I'm 15 weeks and just started feeling the little movements. So exciting! It's very random right now
  • I'm 16 weeks today. Yesterday I felt movement on my left side. It almost felt like a muscle spasm and happened every few seconds for bout 15 mins. Is it normal for the baby to choose a side ? I expected it to be more centralized ! Thanks everyone and congrats

Sounds like baby had the hiccups
  • Same here! Bb girl goes wild at bedtime. I love it now...may not like the schedule when she arrives!
  • I am now 19 wks 2days and I feel movement very weak soft movements nothing to crazy and defiantly not very often. Baby #5 for me
  • This is my second, I started feeling her move about a week ago. I was actually gonna make a post about it because for the last two days she was moving like crazy, yesterday I couldn't even sleep because of that and today just some random movement here and there so I don't know if I should worry. I was so young with my first that I didn't even know it was important so I just don't know.
  • Oh my goodness I accidently hit "report" button on someone's reply and I have no idea who's it was or how to undo it now so if it is you I am so sorry :(
  • I think I felt something yesterday. It was like a tickly feeling that zinged. It was really low, though, near my pelvic bone.

  • I'm 19 weeks and 4 days, I have felt the baby move but no much. I worry about it because with my other children they were very active.
