FFFC

Give me something juicy! Or just give me something.

  • I wish we had a dog mostly to eat liams crumbs.

I'm home with liam and haven't worked a 5 day work week since before Christmas and won't until the end of February (due to conferences/pres day) and I don't hate it ;)

  • It's also nice timing to be home today because we host a super bowl party so I can use today to clean and prep!

  • I wish someone else cleaned up LOs crumbs but not bad enough to get a dog.
  • I always wanted two kids, but I think a second kid might end our marriage.
  • Once, when some poop-crumbs fell onto the floor out of the diaper I was changing, I just had the dog take care of it for me.

I have made it 10 months EBF and really have no interest in stopping, but I'm considering using formula so I can get some time to myself.  I can pump about an ounce a day and that is making me sad.

  • I haven't filled out DD's baby book at all

  • DH is going to be away Saturday night and I'm actually really excited. I'm going to get sushi for dinner and when LO goes to bed I'm going to work on my scrapbook. And have the bed all to myself.

My Saturday nights are super exciting.

I've been mentioning this a lot lately it seems like....I'm pretty sure we are best friends IRL. you remind me so much of myself!
    That's awesome! Internet twins :)
  • I feel bad that my husband is usually the one to take care of DD when she is up really late or wakes up in the middle of the night. Last night he was up with her until 6am while she was vomiting. I mean,  I feel bad, but at the same time I am secretly glad he doesn't wake me up to take my turn (even though I keep telling him to)

I feel ya on this one! When my DH went out of town for 2 nights on business, I was sad to see him go, but excited for eating whatever I wanted when I wanted, letting the house go, and watching whatver I wanted on tv. I was glad when he came back, but I gotta say, it was fun doing whatever! Enjoy your Saturday night!

I'm in the same spot. I need about two bottles a week for while I am at work and I can't pump at work due to my schedule. Hoping I can eek out enough here and there to make it to a year and cow's milk freedom. I'd like to keep nursing until LO is ready to be done, but not having to worry about having a bottle pumped every time I leave him will be a huge relief.

  • Haha! My H does have a beer belly, but I still apologize to him all of the time for not being pretty.

Me too! And then the reply stays in the reply box anyway. And so then I'm afraid it'll accidentally post. And then I have to come up with something else to post so it'll clear. This is why I lurked for so long. Haha.

  • I love it when my husband works late or falls asleep early. Give me a glass of wine, sushi, a sleeping child/husband, and a Friday night and I will show you a happy girl. Ps. Slowly coming our of creepy lurker status.

I deleted it to post that! And I don't remember what it was.

I told my husband last night that sometimes it really bothers me that he is attractive.

It honestly does- too much pressure!!

Like I wish he has a beer belly or SOMETHING.

    What is wrong with me.

    I could totally trade you!
  • One last fffc before midnight. I am ridiculously obsessed with this forum. I'm sorry I post waaaay too much, but I can't help myself. I wish I had joined sooner because I have a lot of pent up " omg I have a baby too" stored up and no one else to share with.

This is me too. DH does more than his fair share, especially at night. I feel so guilty but he honestly likes getting up with LO. It's so nice cause it takes me forever to fall asleep and it only takes DH like 2 seconds, so there's that. But I offered to sleep train DS so that DH could get some sleep too and he was all "No!! The pediatrician said it was fine if it didn't bother me!!!" And I was all....okay? Lol.
