Girls Name

My husband and I picked out Katriz for a girls name. We know it's not everyone's taste but we like it and to me that's what matters. Now my sister is throwing a fit because it sounds like her husband's ex-wife Patrice name. She even had my mom talk to me about how she feels... I'm pretty upset because to me she should be supportive of my choices and I'm not sure how to handle talking to her without screaming. I'm to be induced next week due to some complications she is to be there and I'm not sure at this moment if I want her there if she can't be suportive.

    #2- I don't like the name Katriz (until I read that is sounds like Patrice), I pronounced it Kat-riz

    I teach preschool and last year I had a beautiful little girl named Katriz. Pretty name. Good luck with your sister, she needs to get it together. Once baby Katriz is here she will fall in love and this silliness will disappear. ..Hopefully.
