nightmares?

Anyone experienced vivid frequent nightmares during the second trimester? Been having weird nightmares that vary these past few weeks not sure what it could mean. In one nightmare I was being attacked by cats !! Just looking for some input if anyone else has experienced. :-) Thanks

I just started the 2nd tri and I'm having nightmares: I dreamt I had to defend my family with a sword! Another night, I dreamt that my mom invited my ex to my baby shower. Needless to say, I wake up emotionally exhausted.

Yup, I had a dream that I was attached by snakes (I'm terrified of them), another one where my dead biological father (who I hate with good reason) was demanding I speak to him, a few where my husband is cheating on me with someone who looks just like me. Now for the worst one, my oldest was drowning and I couldn't save her. He lived in the dream but was badly maimed. I woke up from that one went to go check on her, couldn't find her in her bed, ran around the house screaming for her only to find out she was in the bathroom brushing her teeth for school. I've never had a dream as frightening as that one.

My dreams have been a roller coaster or good and bad. And they are non stop, all night. I wake up thinking what the hell. I hope this doesn't last, it's bad enough I have to get up to pee so much at night, it's another to have to wake up to bad dreams on top of that!

Well, i had a litter of puppies the other night in my dream. Only it wasn't a litter of puppies, it was a litter of babies! AND, I proceeded to name the "runt" Top Notch and decided to adopt it. My poor baby has no hope for a good name! Where do our brains come up with this stuff?!

i constantly had miscarriage nightmares during the first tri. now my dreams are just plain weird, but still very, very vivid. some days i wake up feeling more tired than i did when i went to bed!!

My dreams are freaking me out in a different way. I was told my grandmother (who passed away when I was very young) was able to predict some events. So as I found out I'm pregnant I had 3 different dreams of twins, a boy and a girl. After our ultrasound it was confirmed we are having one baby, but soom found out my sister is pregnant aswell with her due date just one day behind me. (So there's your twins) I then had a dream of her and a small little baby thats a boy, and it was confirmed last week to be a boy. And my baby is the girl...how strange?
Maybe I got some of my gran's talents

I have definitely experienced an increase in nightmares and my dreams in general are just more vivid.

The other night I dreamed that I was being chased by zombies. I was with a bunch of people I've never met trying to get away from them in this weird building.

I'm not into zombie stuff at all (don't watch Walking Dead, etc) and have never had a dream about them before. It was scary in the dream, but I was laughing telling my boyfriend about it.

I've also been having a lot of nightmares where my bf is leaving me for his ex-girlfriend. Those are WAY worse.

I wake up angry with him for no reason and I have to tell myself that it was just a dream lol

I had a nightmare that I had a ultrasound done and the dr came in to tell me that my bed is infested with these little bugs that dig into your skin and eat your baby. One of those bugs had ate half of my baby by the heart was still beating. Had to go home and tell my husband and it didn't go to we'll he got mad at me told me it was my fault and tried to kill me. Horrible horrible nightmare I couldn't even go back to sleep after that.

I had a terrible nightmare!!! I was having cramps and started bleeding everywhere so I went to the dr and they told me they couldn't find a heartbeat and my baby died. This was almost 2 weeks ago and I'm still terrified

It feels good to know I'm not going through this alone, in my second trimester I started having a lot of weird vivid dreams of my dad who passed away, also sneaks just weird things and I'm believer the dreams have messages so it's been pretty scary but people say it's a very common thing in your second trimester , that it's our worries that do this , good to know I'm not alone on this. I was starting to think that I needed to let go of my dad only passed away two years ago so it's been a very tricky emotional ride to the dream started happening #-o

Ive been having very vivid nightmares, I wake up in the morning more tired than the night before and mentally exhausted and it effects my whole day, always either about my ex (baby's father) and him trying to kill me and my baby (it was a awful relationship) or about loosing the baby.. I'm 18 weeks at the moment and hoping it will stop soon, this baby is my everything so when I wake up in the night from such vivid dreams it sends me into fits of tears:( it's so horrible just want it to stop!!

Don't get me started with nightmares. Every night, at least 3/4 off the wall scary situations. I wake up drenched in sweat.

I have had vivid dreams for a while now, but they have mostly just been weird and not necessarily nightmares. But earlier this week I had a dream that one of my best friend's dad's was killed in a tragic accident. Then later that night I had a dream that I was with my sister at Walmart and had to pump breast milk for the first time so I went over by the arcade/toy games to pump! And it was coming out crazy fast! I guess that would be a nightmare to be doing that in the open at Walmart!!

I have been having terrible nightmares since the 2nd trimester! I have even woken up screaming. Poor DH freaks out. Lol

So weird! Pregnancy is so different, but I LOVE IT
