For a girl we are thinking Madeline Mae. Mae is my grandmother's middle name whom I never met, but I'm told I look a lot like her. We have not agreed on any boy names just yet!
For a boy I think we are set on Wyatt Franklin AMD for a girl we have a few but some of my faces are Charlotte, Brooklyn, Emma, and Ashley. I'm sure I will come across others I will love.
Girls name: Harper. We're both pretty sold on it. Elizabeth as a potential middle name. Boy: Levi Michael is a top runner. Michael is DHs middle name as well.
Lol! I also loved the boys name version of that video on youtube. It also makes it hard for teachers when there are children with names spelt as though the parents made up the spelling because they want their child to be "original". News flash: your kid ain't that different from the rest and they will be spending their lives correcting the spelling of their name!
We aren't even talking about names yet until we are out of the first trimester (I know, I'm jaded!)! We have a Max (Maximus) and a Leo (Leonardo). I like Alexander and Nicolas, for a girl I like Pearl.
I love unusual names. I mean I don't want my kid to be named Banjo or anything, but I also don't want them to be the fourth child in their class with the same name. One of my friends was Matt M until high school, and it was hard to stop calling him that! My son's name is Holden, which isn't common, but isn't too out there, and people always compliment us on the choice. Our next baby will have an uncommon name too! No choices yet though...:) I love all the name on here!
For a girl I am thinking Evelyn Anne (I just like the first name and middle name is family name) but undecided on whether I like them together. For a boy I am thinking Leo Kenneth (also just like first name and middle names is Dh fathers name) but again undecided as to whether I like them together.
So here is a question and pickle I am in regarding names and would like some input. We have both boy and girl names both starting with A. Our last name starts with S. Sooo long story short my DH cousin passed away when they were young so he would like to give our LO if a girl her name as the middle. Which to me my response was automatically absolutely! However, then I realized her name is Sarah. So our LO (if a girl) would have initials "ASS". I have a bit of an issue with this but feel horrible because I would like to honor his cousin. He seems to think it's not an issue and no one pays attention to initials. I worry about ridicule for the baby at school, etc. Any outside opinions? Thanks!

Yea ASS for initials would be kind of horrible honestly...I mean, if that had to be on anything...my parents were going to name me Ashley, but my initials would have been ARF. So they opted out, because even if you don't think about it, I'm sure a bully in school or some dumb jock could say something, and that wouldn't be fun for your kid. Maybe 2 middle names instead? Like Nicole or something? Then it would be ASNS or ANSS instead? Something like that? Just a thought!

Thank you! Yeah I agree 100%. Just feel awful because I know how much the name Sarah means to my DH and naming our LO if a girl after her. I tried throwing out the idea of using her middle name as our LO middle name but he said it's not the same. So I may try the two middle names. Worth a shot... I just have the same fear about some bully or jock, especially how it's so prevalent these days. Thanks again for the input!

I empathize your struggle, however looking forward into your child's future please be mindful that she will be stuck with your choice! In my career (Radiation Therapist) our initials are EVERYWHERE. All of my work is noted by my initials. Not sure how common it is to use initials in other lines of work, but in health care it is prevelant. Good luck, friend!
My child's father wants a Jr., I'm totally against although his name is Justin, I want a unisex name Jaxon Greear for a girl, or Jackson Maurice for a boy.
In response to "ASS" for initials.. When I got married if I made my maiden name my middle name my initials would have been "ASS" so I kept my middle name just for that reason. Especially if it's for a girl, she would never be able to monogram anything!
In response to ass as initials and i dislike giving children tons of names but in this case its to honor a cousin so i would give her 4 names making the sarah the 3rd name in there .
I love the idea of DH's first name as Baby's first name and my dad's first name (which is also my middle name) as Baby's middle name. I'm just stuck on that.
Joshua Michael...I'm just loving that.
Now, if we find out Baby is a girl, I don't have a plan

Yes, which is my point because we don't know who this little one will end up being or doing. I just want to be sure we don't subject her to anything unnecessary and I know his cousin sarah wouldn't have wanted that either. So we have been discussing possibly using her name with a shortened version of her middle name I. E. SaraLiz. As our LO middle name so her initials would be ASLS instead. Just trying to get our heads around 4 initials... Such a hard decision, because you are absolutely right...our decision will affect her in the future.
I was 100% set on my first daughter's name since I can't remember when. Her name was always going to be Marissa Lynn. SO doesn't like it cause he says it sounds too "country". He tried to make me give up the whole thing but I still want my little Missy. After much debate we have come to an agreement!!! We decided to go with Marissa Mae if we have a girl and Vincent Cornelius for a boy. There is also a likely chance that we could have twins with my family history so we are thinking Zoey Paige for a second girl but we haven't even begun to figure out another boy name yet. It took the perfect middle name for him to make me fall in love with Vincent. Another boy name will be tough.
Re: What baby names do you have ?!
Boy: Levi Michael is a top runner. Michael is DHs middle name as well.
Boys: I like Declan but BF isn't too keen on it, so we are still working on that one. I also like the name Ryker

Rebekah Joy or Natalie Joy
For a boy I am thinking Leo Kenneth (also just like first name and middle names is Dh fathers name) but again undecided as to whether I like them together.
Boy: Brantley or Weston or Waylon
Girl: Elladie or Brynlee
We have a two year old named Bennett

For a girl: Melia Elodie
Lawson Paige
If it's a girl
Rian Everly
:x
Addison Edward for a boy
I also have really started to like Elodie May (and call her Ellie May), but do no really see Elodie anywhere that it is a real name?
Emma Francesca (Emmy)
James Fransisco (Jamie)

A girl will be Rowen
A boy will be Bryer
