  • Someone please for the love of God make these posts stop! I'm losing my ever lovin' mind!
  • Stop it.
  • You ladies are so RUDE Its disgusting. Who CARES IF SOMEONE ASKED THIS ALREADY!!! IF IT BOTHERS YOU SKIP PASS IT!!!!!!!!!!!

No one is rude. We just believe in accurate information. No one is showing at 9, 10, 11, 12 etc weeks. The baby is too small. Its bloat

  • We need to define "showing." To the world I'm showing something, but I am not yet showing a baby.

When at my nt ultrasound at 12w3d the tech was pressing into my pelvic bone pretty hard. I pointed a good 5 inches higher to the big-bloated-belly and said to my husband, "oh, you probably thought the baby was all of this didn't you?"

This is my first pregnancy. I'm small build. And maternity pants are staying up just fine on their own...and I'm still not "showing--a baby."

Yes, some of you are VERY rude!
Actually, I am showing at 12 weeks and it's not bloat, it's all baby. This is my second time around, and you start showing sooner than the first.
But, the ones who are rude, clearly have the time to read every post... Go take a breather, you're funking up the board.

I am a second time mom also. I also know that the baby is the size of a plum. And being a second time mom does not mean you will necessarily show earlier. And definitely not at 12 weeks

  • Why must we continue to ask??  How about this?  This answer is always yes.... you want to say you're showing??? OK congrats you are!

What is the point of being so negative? We're having babies! Let's be grateful. Hormones or not being so mean is not called for.

Just because someone has a difference in opinion does not mean that they are being mean or rude.

  • I have a theory that if people that don't like these posts stopped commenting on them repeatedly, they'd disappear from the front page and stop clogging up the feed much faster. I could be wrong about that though...

  • All of you awesome ladies sound like second graders. "You're mean!" No, you're just misinformed and cannot mentally handle someone disagreeing with you. I could say the same to all of you - if you don't like a person's reply, then skip it! Except, I'm an adult, and I realize that this is a magical place called the internet. Your replies are far worse and far 'meaner' than the ones you are consistently complaining about.
  • Yes i do. I look like4 month pregnant . I can't. Hide my pregnancy any more.

Also, if you are new to the board feel free to read the TOU and use the search function. Because a dozen posts about "omg guise I'm 12 weeks and totes showing more than a food baby" does nothing but clog the board and irritate people who consistently respond to threads that haven't been beat to death.

Why bother having rules if they don't apply, especially to newbs?
  • Wow! Remind me not to ask a question on here! It's my first time and God forbid I break your high and mighty "protocol" and ask a "stupid" question. Some of you moms should be ashamed of yourselves!
