high heartrates = girl, who's 12 weeks?

Who knows their heartrate at 12 weeks?
Who has had a boy with high bpm?

I know it's not a true determination, but I've had 4 boys and none of them had 163 bpm. All in 120's. I'm thinking I'm having a girl!

I've yet to hear anyone I know say their boys heart rate was that high.

What are your results for those that already have kids and remember bpm?

I get conclusive blood results next week fyi.

My son's was in the 160's most of the time but sometimes lower. It's an old wives tale. The heart beat will vary thoughout your pregnancy depending if baby is active or resting.

My twins were 159 and 161 today. Not sure the sex yet. Gut says girls but I could be wrong.

HR is a true wives tale. I am a L&D nurse and it never holds true. Babies HR are usually higher in the beginning and drop some as you get farther along in your pregnancy.

I am almost 12 weeks and hr is 180. I think girl because of that. My friend is having a boy and at one time his was 189. It has dropped now.

The highest was at 10 weeks 165 and yesterday was 145 (tech said it can vary, he was sleepy).. it's a boy

My boy was never under 160. Even the Dr said "usually that means it's a girl" but obviously not always!

My son's was always in the 160s. This baby has been in the 160s at 7 weeks and 180s at 9 weeks, but we don't know the sex yet.

My mom thought I was a boy because of low heartrate. Surprise! i'm a girl!

The heart rate has always ended up being true for me. I still don't believe in it because I know it's an old wives tale and that when you flip a coin enough times you will eventually get the outcome you want several times in a row, but that's luck not science.

DD#1 high rate 170's

DS #1 low rate 150's

DD #2 high rate 160's

Current baby = 168 @ 8 weeks (far too soon to get consistent rate anyway)

But here's hoping you get your desired outcome OP.

My MIL has 6 kids. She's a RN and knows this is a wive's tale but it happened to be accurate for all 6 of her kids. She has also accurately predicted the genders of all 7 of her grandkids after the first ultrasound based on this. True or not, it's fun to speculate! Good luck!

My sons was always high 160s-170s so I don't think it's very accurate indication of the sex at all.

My baby's heart rate is in the 160's. We are not finding out the sex but both my husband and I keep feeling like it is a girl even before we knew the heart rate. We will see

I had my 12 week check up on Tuesday and the heart rate was 174 bpm. Chinese gender chart and Ramzi test all say girl, but I guess we will just have to wait and see!!! March can't come fast enough.... Or can it.. Haha
