So this will be my last check in as I have officially graduated. I will definitely miss the drama free attitude of this board, but most of all I'm going to miss my friends here. I can't imagine having gone through this process without the support from the friends I've made here. It's been my safe place and you feel like family. The other boards have been so broken up, I don't even know exactly where to go from here! @lcwed has requested to take over the check in starting next week and I'm sure she will do an amazing job! IVF #3, progesterone in oil (PIO), Estrodiol 2x/day, pre-natals, Vitamin D, assisted hatching, no caffeine, no herbal teas, little to no nitrates, no alcohol

4. Where are you in your cycle?
13dp5dt....with BFP confirmed
BETA #1=720 (10 day)
BETA #2= 2284 (12 day)

5. How do you feel about this cycle?
Over the moon excited!!! Beta numbers have tripled so that's really good news. RE no longer needs to check betas every 2 days, instead I will be 1xa week for a little while.

QOTW:
I have so many! It makes my skin crawl when people make plurals over things that are the same singular or plural like shrimps or mooses, or when people say "axe" instead of "ask". Oh and when people say SAL-mon instead of salmon. Can you tell I waitressed for many years? Lol most of these are food related.

I had my 2nd medicated IUI on 1-8. Letrozole with gonal-f and Pregnyl trigger. PNV, baby aspirin, royal jelly, folate, CQ10, no alcohol, limited caffeine.

4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test? I am d13pIUI still in the 2WW beta on Friday!

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc) I'm very hopeful, I'm terrified at the same time because of last month but I'm trying to be positive and hopeful.

My chart is barely biphasic, I had a dip below CL yesterday it went up today but not by much. I'm using OPK's again just in case I really didn't O. These don't seem like post post O temps, correct me if I'm wrong....

ask+axe, supposedly- I've heard people say it with a B in there somehow, there are so many more I just can't think of right now.

Wow, it looks like we've lost a lot of people. Since I"m on the west coast, usually by the time I get to this there are a million posts. I don't totally get the drama, but I can respect feeling annoying by the way something is being run. I feel that way about my school constantly.

Bloodwork on 1/30, after that hoping to get an appointment with an RE. Doing herbs, acupuncture, really working reducing my stress (those damn kids don't matter, they're all shitty anyway

Feeling pretty unhopeful, atm. Not sure why. I guess I felt like we did everything right last cycle and nada. But i know in my rational mind that's not the way it works.

I have so many. But for some reason can't think of any right now. Oh, well this isn't exactly mispronounced, but more misuse (english teacher after all)--using unorganized when they mean disorganized!

2. Ttc #3 for about 8 years (6 NTNP and 2 active trying) with 2 MC's in those two years.
DD is 18 and DS is 10.

3. Sticking with just sex. No medical intervention for us.

4. I stopped charting/ opk's so don't know where I am in my cycle other than it's CD 19. Last month I had a 36 day cycle but usually I'm 21-23 day cycle. So I'm interested to see what my effed up body will do this cycle.

5. I stopped being hopeful last year but I won't throw in the towel until next year. So let's hope for a BFP before then.

QOTW: can't think of any words that bother me that much. But I know I say a bunch of words funny so I really can't complain about other people.

@dukegirlsc‌ - just curious how someone can say street wrong?

Everything. LOL. Went to see RE waiting for results. Weaning off OPK because probably don't care after the test results. prenatals, Vitex, CoQ10, Vitamin D. Been drinking green and rasberry tea because I broke up with coffee.

I hate when I say assed instead of asked. I don't know when I started doing it but I'm hyper aware now and have been working to ensure the K is there when I speak. I get more annoyed by typos, which I do myself so people and glass houses and all...

5. I want to feel hopeful. There are no 'reasons' for my infertility but my thyroid was slightly out of whack. I hope I'm in the lucky 15-18% that the doctor gave me.

hmmm...I had a roommate that was very George Bush like and make up words. I would try to reuse them correctly without saying something to be nice but it drove me insane. Like, Economicable, and she would say quesadilla (with the L sound like dill)

Got dashed crosshairs 11 days ago so that's what I'm going with. I've been testing since Sunday (I had to travel for work and there has been a lot of happy hours the last 2 days) but so far nada.

Meh. I figure AF is gonna show up when she's due. My temps have been all over the map but that could have been because of the traveling. I figured after the 3 days of negatives, I'm more than likely out, but I was smelling EVERYTHING on the plane ride home today (from a vinegar smell coming from a kid's marker to the water they gave me) so I guess we'll see what happens.

2. 3 months going for a 3rd! Hoping 3rd times a charm but trying not to get hopes up.
3. Temping, using FF, opk around fertile window (got positive last month but didn't make a difference) and got one yesterday, did BD this am and will again tonight. Can't tomorrow b/c we are going away and will have 3 kids in our hotel room with us but can maybe make it happen Friday night but probably too far last O-day.
4. Pretty sure today was O-day.
5. Anxious but trying to just relax and go with the flow; not over-think and over-analyze everything from O-day to AF! I've been spotting a 3-5 days before AF so I'll be cautiously waiting and will test 1-2 days early if no spotting.

I cannot stand when greasy is pronounced Greezy.

We've been trying for 20 months, as my screen name would suggest, no kids, just two pups.

We have had 3 failed IUIs, with our local infertility specialist, while we were waiting for out appointment with the big city doc. The big city doc harvested 17 eggs, ended up with 14 five-day embryos. One egg transfer but first IVF resulted in chemical pregnancy.

4. Where are you in your cycle?
We (I tend to say we, it's really physically just me, but my husband has given me daily injections and has always been there and we're a team in this, so I'm going with 'we') are sitting out this month. Due to the chemical pregnancy, my doc said to pick it up next cycle and do a FET using one of the remaining 13 frosties. So, we're hoping for a FET mid-Feb.

5. How do you feel about this cycle?
I'm tired. I'm frustrated. But, I'm determined this isn't going to make me crazy, so I'm keeping busy with work. I feel like everything has been put on hold for us for the last two years. I'm happy to refrain from caffeine, alcohol, get daily injections, countless blood work and ultrasounds like everyone else on these boards...but after awhile it tends to take a toll and can get pretty hopeless. I was cautiously optimistic when the nurse called to tell me my pregnancy test was positive, but I didn't really believe her, and maybe that was a good thing. In a way I am relieved that I even got to hear that I was pregnant, even if it didn't work out in the end. I have a friend who has been at this for 10 years and I have so much respect for her, I really don't know how she does it, but she's probably one of the strongest people I know.

I went to school in New England, so I appreciate it when people pronounce their Rs.

Karen from NE TTC on and off for 4 years trying for #1 and only

Had taken 2.5 mg Femara cd3-7 first time using this med. Next month I will start charting. I'm in the dreaded TWW 4dpo I'm kind of in extreme mode either super positive and the next minute incredibly negative. Trying to find a middle ground. I hate text talk using acronyms when speaking is like nails on a chalk board to me.

Slowly sliding into the 'if it happens, it happens' phase. Trying not to lose hope but, sometimes it ain't easy!

I think everyone covered the words already....but then there's Pacific instead of specific. My DH frequently does that, so I reply "nope I want to be Atlantic!" lol

IUI however we are benched this month because of MFI issues.. Found out a couple weeks ago that DH has a blockage and we are going through further testing.

IUI #2 with RE. Femara CD 3-7, Menopur CD8, ultrasound CD9, then make a plan - Ovidrel trigger + IUI + Progesterone. I'm still doing acupuncture, which I love. I've added CoQ10, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C.

I'm hopeful. Lucky #2!!

I was bummed by my chemical pregnancy last month, but I'm trying to see it as a positive - a trial run maybe. My body still knows what to do!

Asked - axed DEFINITELY! I have a co-worker who always mispronounces words and she says triglycercides instead of triglycerides. It always makes me cringe... and think she's trying to make up a new exercise program - triglycersize!

Taking prenatals and Vit D, follow up with my OB on Monday to start a workup on my reproductive health and also a follow up well visit after MC.

I have no idea.......I don't know if it was AF that came on 1/5 (that would make me CD15) Im still bleeding pretty light STILL so I have no idea whats going on.

Concerned. Last IUI was a bust. And this is our last attempt before we move onto IVF. Insurance doesn't cover any of it so we are all OOP. Hoping this works this month...

@Teenie16‌ This is my first iui. I was just wondering how they have yours scheduled already? We are also thinking two iuis then move to ivf if not successful. More expensive but better chances.

@kindershlitz‌ ultrasound went ok. I had one lonely follie at 18mm. Since I'm 40, we're shooting for more than one. It's disheartening because I've been taking the Menopur injections for three cycles now and this is the first time we've done an ultrasound after (usually I do injection, trigger the next night, etc.). Now I'm wondering if I've not been responding for the last three months and we've been having just one "target" all along. Ugh. I'm doing Menopur again tonight, ultrasound in am. IUI is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday but I'm feeling pretty negative about this cycle now. If it doesn't work, I'm going to ask to completely change it up. ETA: I know it only takes one...

@emsmama15‌ grrr. That sounds really frustrating. I'm sorry. I'm pretty new to this so I don't necessarily know what's good or bad. My dr had wanted to see at least 8 follicles at the baseline ultrasound and I had 9. They didn't say anything at my last other than I had one dominant (I could see a few but not nearly as large) so I thought that was good to have one? I hope your U/S tomorrow is more telling.

I also have an u/s tomorrow. Mine will be every other day and when they tell me I'll take the Ovidrel 12 hours prior. I don't know what the desired measurement is for them but I think it's 20mm. I find it interesting to hear what different experiences are. My office does inseminations two days in a row. It doesn't sound like most places do that. I've read that there is not significant scientific evidence that it helps but they think it helps.

@kindershlitz‌, my clinic will do back to back IUI if I want, but we're really doing IUI due to performance issues my hubby was having with the prescribed sex regimen, so we're now doing timed intercourse the night of trigger and IUI 36 hours later. My insurance covers six IUIs and I wanted them to last.

let me know how your ultrasound goes. I feel like we're hijacking the check-in but no one else seems to be on it, so it must be ok.

@kindershlitz They basically have my IUI scheduled. It could change but I have a very regular cycle so I usually ovulate cd12-13. So I will start using opk this week and once I have a + we'll do it. I go in for an US tomorrow to make sure we're still on track tho.

IUI buddies >:D< I think there is a few others having it around the same too! I hope we all are successful this go round!

@kindershlitz‌ and @Teenie16‌, I triggered tonight. IUI on Wednesday morning. Still just one follicle today, measuring 19.5mm. It only takes one... That's my mantra for this week!
