Hey Ladies!

I'm posting another one of these for various reason. I think it's a really helpful tool for everyone. Please pin me @lisaren!

Siggy Help

Quick Siggy Instructions
To add a badge to your signature:

Must be on the site to make these changes
Click on the person silhouette ("Account Settings") on the right side of the TB, just below The Bump's page header.
Select "Preferences."
Select "Signature Settings" from the left side - blue font, under your profile picture.
Edit your signature to your liking just like you would a message in a thread
No need to test! Once you make your signature it will show up on all of your previous posts. All you need to do is check one of them.
When adding photos, click the little Polaroid-like button and paste the link location for the button/picture you want in the box that pops up. ★ If you skip this step and just paste the link into the signature box, the picture won't show up! ★

To Resize and Move:
Move the little white squares on the corners and sides of the image (while it's selected). You can also drag the image into a different location in your siggy.

Want To Tag Someone?

The Bump has an awesome feature where you can tag someone in a post. When you do, the receiver will get a notification in the upper right hand of their screen (not noticeable on mobile).

Step #1 - find out how the person's name is spelled on their profile page.
Step #2 - use the @ symbol
Step #3 - ★ do NOT copy and past their name from their icon. It will not work. You need to type it out.★

GIF Help For Mobile

This part has been added by me, just in case you other ladies need it. To add a gif is super easy.

First, you need to find a gif. Just goggling one is fine. Once you have the gif you want, make sure to copy the gifs URL location ONLY. Meaning if it's on a site, using the sites URL will not work.
You've already done most of the work, hooray!!!
Next is some basic HTML which I will put together in the next couple bullets. You will need to assemble these.
first, you need an opening. So type <
Next tell that opening what to do. Type img src
After the src input an = sign right after, no spaces
After the equal sign (=) insert the GIF URL, also no spaces
Then, close the formula with a > (no spaces after the url)
You're done! YAY!

@Maelara Can you edit the abbreviations to include some of the post abbreviations? (HDBD, UO, FFFC) stuff like that. I know I was clueless for a while until I'd catch snippets of what they meant within the threads.

Alright, I read this twice but I still cant get my tracker to come up at the bottom of my posts. Im assuming it goes in the siggy, and Ive put both of the links in the siggy and it still doesnt work. What am I doing wrong?

There is different html you can put in front but those are for positioning not to fix the HTML. The code looks good

What I found finally worked for me was to c/p the code, then where I pasted it on the signature settings page I had to find the little HTML code button (looks like < > ) to move it into base code mode, paste, then click the button again to get it to convert the code into the picture. That finally worked!

I can do paragraphs, it just takes longer doing it that way. I do try, because not having paragraphs can be hella annoying. I have to press that button twice, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. If I'm quoting a large quote I can't get down to my comment in time before it reverts back to the normal screen. I know the HTML to do the paragraphs, it's just annoying. I'm on my iPad 100% of the time.

@Maelara‌ Have you considered using TB app on the iPad? Granted it's designed for the iPhone so you get the tiny box or the huge zoom. But it would let you easily do paragraphs!

The code looks perfect. Try exiting your current browsers and using a different Internet browser (Firefox is an example) to post the code. I know these silly signatures sometimes have issues with certain browsers.

@bloomraiser‌ the imagine rarely goes upside down if the image is inserted correctly into the text box. You must click the image after you attach it and click insert image. It might look upside down before you post but it *usually* goes the correct way once you hit the post reply button.
