I have read through so many boards and still don't understand. I saw the post about how some members (more like all) were banned bc they used porn and were harassing others...but this wasn't really seen here all that much. Not sure why everyone is gone?

A bunch of old regs and moderators got banned without warning. Shit got worse from them and a lot of people are flocking to PB.

Yeah, it's really crazy. Then others questioned why people were banned without warning and they went unanswered. So the Parenting and TTGP boards pretty much shut down. It's a hot mess.

I'm not shocked that a business would pull something like this. Sad, yes. My N14 mamas got me through my first pregnancy and I felt a real sense of family and community. But there does need to be a line somewhere about how much manure a company should be allowed to get away with. They clearly crossed said line and will be dealing with the repercussions for awhile.

But guys, just think if the gif party that could be had if the didn't close off the announcement thread and change the TOU!

Hi I have been a longtime lurker on N14 but I have posted occasionally. With the mass exodus I'd like to join the FB group if that is still possible! Can someone point me in the right direction?

@rbella16 you can PM @lissydee for the main FB group, but since you have mainly been a lurker and no one "knows" you, they may not want their personal names known. Perhaps pro boards would be good option for the lurker a who want to participate in a board but not be on the bump because of the stupid bump gods.

And...after reading what @BumpMay did to Naria...yeah, not cool. I'm out. See ya on FB, maybe proboards if anyone moves there.

I am actually really sad about this. I was on The Bump with my first pregnancy (diff account, lost the email and password). Then I was on TTGP for almost a year before getting pregnant with Ramona, and then here for her pregnancy. Now this place is never going to be the same and for good reason. Can't believe it all went down the way it did.
The bump was awesome because every other pregnancy forum is all rainbows and butterflies and I loved the sass here.

Just needed to vent! Hope those idiots realize what they lost.

Seriously though, I had been following all of this pretty closely but didn't realize the full extent. I think I'll be heading to PB now.
