Re: Monday Bitchfest/Symptoms

  • My pelvic pain has GOT TO GO. I'm pretty much to the point that I want to go see a chiropractor AND get a prenatal massage. Something's gotta give.
  • Loading the player...
  • I'm nauseous. And I have started to get sweaty - like wanting to take 2 showers a day gross.

  • I'm in on the pelvic pain too... It feels like he is so low, but he is also constantly in my ribs! DD was never in my ribs :(

  • @Skrittens I feel you on the sweat. I wake up and have to check to make sure I didn't pee myself. Nope, it's just good ole just night sweats.
  • My pelvic pain has been awful this pregnancy. Also I am beyond exhausted, I feel like I barely have enough energy to walk around work. It is going to be a rough 8 weeks or so. I really hope I do not go past my due date.

  • Pelvic pain, GD issues, horrible cramping last night that freaked me out, aches everywhere, GD problems... Sigh. I feel you ladies! And I can barely stay awake!

My bitch is about my MIL, as it so often is. Just her attempts at passive aggression. So old and uninspired.

And I can't wash and put away baby stuff today because we have to exchange the nursery furniture. So I'm planning on some much needed retail therapy instead.
  • Yeah the BH's are getting kind of ridiculous.  I was cramping all morning, super distracting.  So much so I put my pants on inside out at first, and seriously wished I could just wear them that way so I wouldn't have to bend over to take them off and fix my socks -.- 5 weeks and 2 days until she's scheduled to arrive.  I want her to take the time she needs but I really wouldn't mind sleeping through about half of it.

Potty breaks were decreasing as well as heartburn after she flipped but they seem to be on the rise again--not sure if she's stretching her feet up and poking stuff or if she's flipped over again. -.- 5 times a night seems to be about average atm--no matter when I go to bed.

  • @zebraleg4lunch I feel your pain so much. The only way I can comfortably sleep is on my back, which we all know you're not supposed to do. SUCKS.
  • Ugh to stomach cramps and constipation. On top of the hemorrhoids. Is it March yet?

  • Everything hurts, seriously every inch of me. Wtaf?
  • My pelvic pain is waking me up at night in addition to having to pee. I teared up while trying to roll over. It was unreal.

  • My carpal tunnel is so unreal today. Every time I grip a pen, my fingers go numb by the end of a sentence. One sentence. Can it like, stop getting worse, for one day? Pretty please?
  • @ruemorgan‌ That seriously sucks! Hope it gets a little (a lot) better soon!
  • My bladder is my enemy right now. I permanently feel like I have to pee and have bladder pressure even when I don't. I think I must be going to the bathroom 20 times a day at least.

Sleeping is also hell, legs cramps, hip pain, stuffed nose.

My LO also seems to want to shove her feet into my ribs constantly just to keep me on my toes (or jumping 3 feet in the air).

I have to say I am feeling quite miserable this Monday.

This is me too. It sucks. A new brace helped a little, but i can't wear it all day. I'm also feeling like I will rip someone's face off today.

  • My back hurt SO bad last night I broke down and asked DH to put some icy hot on it for relief. I have used it a few times during pregnancy - but my skin must be getting REALLY sensitive because about 5 minutes after he put it on, it was burning SO BADLY that I was crying - and nothing I was doing was making it better. Poor DH - by this time I am BAWLING in the bathroom, and he has NO idea what to do. He GENTLY washed it off then put some calming lotion on it, and it was better, but MAN was it traumatic. Note to self - the back pain was WAY better than the burning.

    It's a BOY !!!
  • Holy vagina punch, batman.
  • My fingers are sausages and my ankles are nonexistent. Today was the first day I wasn't able to wear my rings, feeling naked.

Whenever I change positions or get out of bed I breathe like I just ran a marathon. It's pretty sad.

    The heartburn... OMG the heartburn.

It seems like everything was tolerable up until the last week or so (33 weeks) and now I'm wondering how the hell I'm going to make it to March. I feel like brat complaining about this sort of stuff but MAN! Although, I'm beyond thankful that the baby is kicking like a ninja and I love watching my belly move around.

  • @ruemorgan‌ and @lynndavid6912‌ - typing and reading a book actually helps my carpal tunnel. It's something with the wrist position.

  • I have been really struggling to come up with a name that me and my H love for this little boy. With our first, the name had been planned wayyyy prior to conception so it was so easy. This time, we just CANNOT get there with a name. I have 4 names right now that are in the running, none that I am head over heels for. I was chatting with my sister on the phone the other day and she asked me what the names were. She went straight up "ewwww, NO!" with one of my options and it was extremely annoying. Like, keep your verbal diarrhea to yourself, I certainly was not asking your opinion. It has taken us 7 months to get this far with the names, I do not need that kind of reaction. Blah.

  • @JennyP0222 We are having issues picking out a name too. We keep coming back to one particular name, but neither of us is completely sold on it. There aren't really any other frontrunners right now though. We probably won't have a decision made when he's born, but I really believe that we will know it as soon as we find the right name.

I have noticed my wrists feel better the three nights a week I work at my part time job as a receptionist. How strange since they say stuff like desk work makes it worse.

It is a surprisingly frustrating predicament! I really did not think I would be this far into this pregnancy and still so on the fence with a name.

Me either, but he doesn't like most of the names I've always liked, and he hasn't really thought about it like I have so he doesn't have much to contribute either. We keep coming back to one name but neither of us is 100% sold on it. I have a feeling when he's born we will either say YES he looks like a *name* or NO he doesn't seem like a *name* at all. Either way, you will figure it out when the time is right. Who knows, the name might just pop into your head one day.
  • I forgot to mention the foot pain. The back of my right heel hurts and there's a spot on top of my left foot that is tender to the touch but there is no bruise or swelling. Also my big toes hurt. I really hope my left foot isn't a stress fracture because that's what it feels like!

It's like all the nerves in my body decided to hurt in various places all around the same time.
  • Its probably already been mentioned in several threads but seriously gettingn sick of people feeling that its ok to tell me how huge i am, one of the senior Bms's i work with actually stopped me and said you're so huge we should start calling you the patholigy blimp! Instead of a witty remark in return i burst into tears and literally ran away D: too much emotion than i can handle right now!!!

Umm WTAF? In what universe is this EVER acceptable?
  • LO is getting so strong that I swear some of his kicks have literally knocked the wind out of me. It's the kind of incident that makes you stop for a second to make sure you're still in one piece. I had no idea an unborn baby could pack such a punch.

Also, TMI I'm sure, but my hemorrhoids have hemorrhoids. And skin tags. Seriously, I know everyone says you lose all modesty and DGAF who sees what when you're in labour, but I'm already mortified at the thought of DH, my mom, or my sister seeing my derrière. Everyone needs to stay by my head and hell to the no on the mirror. I feel so disgusting :(

     Anniversary

  • Lightning crotch. Heartburn. A bad cough from the heartburn that I've had for two months and was told I'll have until she's born. I can't reach my feet. Carpel tunnel. I'm pretty sure I smell like pee from all the leaks from coughing. Add to all of this fun a couple of asshole family members. I think I can see why I'm in a shitty mood today!

  • I'm with you ladies. Pelvic pain is ridiculous. I defiantly notice it gets more aggravated when i walk but oww! That and heartburn. the last two weeks, babies kept me up anywhere from 2 to 3 hours in the middle of the night. As long as they are healthy though I'm fine with it. Too many scares of babies born too early for my comfort!!
  • Back and round ligament pain is out of control. LO is also all up in my ribs right now and it seriously hurts to breathe. Doing almost anything at this point is exhausting and I'm generally in bed by 8pm every night. DH is being really supportive even though he's not really sure what to do to help.

My Monday bitch is that we hired a handyman to install a new fence and he didn't show up today to finish the work he started over the weekend. Our neighbor knows/recommended him and was livid that he didn't come back so now he helped us find a new contractor to finish the work. We love these neighbors and I think they feel pretty bad. I just want the fence to be done so my dog can finally go outside on his own and the old pieces can be off my lawn.
  • Sore ribs and pointy elbows / knees / feet are for the birds.

I'm pretty sure LO is trying to escape through my abdomen.

  • I'm too exhausted to even bitch about Anything today lol
  • Ugh this pelvic pain!!! How the hell am I going to make it till March???
  • I'm so tired of the back pain. I feel like I'm 90 years old. Getting out of bed or a chair takes me forever and I'm so stiff. Plus I can't sit or lie down in any position for more than like 10 minutes without getting into terrible pain. But moving is so challenging.....and I have 10 more weeks to go. So jealous of all you with early March due dates!
