Double Ear Infection :(

So Hannah, DH and I have been sick for about two weeks now (oh goodie, thanks niece...)

So since for a sinus type cold thing they say to wait 10 days to ensure it really is a sinus infection. We all go to the doctors today. Poor Hannah has a double ear infection

. She hasn't been tugging at her ears like at all, BUT she did put her fingers in her ear today and say "ucky". I guess I know what that means now. So our whole family is on antibiotics 3 times a day for like the next week.

I know many of you ladies have had LO's with ear infections, this is Hannah's first bout of antibiotics and it just makes me sad. My poor little girl

Ugh. I'm sorry. We made it to 18 mos before our first ear infection. But, it was a doozy with double infections in both boys and a crazy high fever. I felt awful that I didn't catch it earlier

, That yucky amoxicillin reminds me of childhood! Hope H feels better asap!!

Yucko! No fun to have anyone down in your house, but all 3 at once is painful! Good luck-I hope the meds work their magic quickly!

Oh gosh I hope so!! That's what made me decide we all had to go in today.

Can you imagine all of this with a newborn!?

Poor H. Poor Robeano household! Are you all on probiotics or eating yogurt daily? The last thing you all need is yeast too. Hugs, hope you all feel better really soon.

Oh my, that's a lot! We've certainly had our share of ear infections antibiotics. Good thing is within 24 hours H always felt better and acted normal. Hopefully the meds kick all of this for y'all!

So sorry! This winter has seriously been the worst for being sick. We've all been on antibiotics this winter as well. DH had an ear infection, sinus infection for me and A had pink eye. Ugh!!

Hope you have more healthy days ahead.

This sounds exactly like our house days before DD arrived. Hope you're all feeling better quickly! I'm amazed that this is her first round of antibiotics... good for you!!

Oh no, I hope she feels better soon!

D had an ear infection about a month ago and was on antibiotics for the first time. FWIW, he started to feel better 2-3 days after starting the antibiotics. Tylenol helped a lot too with the fever and pain.

And I agree with TJ - Yogurt with probiotics is a good idea for her tummy while she is on the meds.
