After not buying cereal for over a year because I think it's expensive and bad for you. I bought 4 boxes at Walmart yesterday. Today I ate 6(!!) bowls of Special K.
I can pick another Aussie food to talk about Though I'm struggling to think of anything else other than Mars Pods...
DH's friend married a woman from Australia and they're hosting an Australia-themed party next weekend. I heard bits and pieces of DH's side of the phone conversation, and they were laughing about whether or not kangaroo is safe for pregnant women to eat.
I thought they were joking. Apparently not (unless they're still just yanking my chain a bit). I'll try anything once, so I guess I'll just work under the assumption that it's just like any other meat and as long as it's cooked enough, I'll be fine.
OH WAIT. I meant I should TOTALLY go start my own special snowflake thread about whether or not eating kangaroo is safe during pregnancy.
Ooh! This thread is over 200 posts! Must be important!
Troll much? Quit starting shit, it's not necessary.
Oh...you jumped back on to this post. It is important! !! Let's work together to keep it going, since this is more important than losses. Pinky promise you won't stop commenting.

Fallacy. Probably a number of fallacies actually, but I'm going to stick with what I consider the most obvious at this moment. You are creating a false equivalence between number of replies and importance. This is not a standard that is accepted by anyone else, therefore your argument is meaningful only to you.
And I can't post about fallacies without tagging @blastocarrier30 because she always has more to share. She is the fallacy knowledge boss.
While I was posting this, you posted another fallacy so allow me to educate you some more since you hunger for it so much.

Assumption of causation. You are assuming she posted because it is important. If you pay attention to what people are saying, that is not anyone's cause for posting here. And you are also following the slippery slope based on your own assumption of causation and false equivalence that if it is at all important, it must be more important than losses.
Due to the number of fallacies popping up in your arguments, I sincerely doubt your ability or willingness to comprehend this analytical look at them. So I am doing this for my own amusement now.

I guess the rules don't Apply to everyone, we aren't allowed to say what ever we want, only they are. I've been wondering when they would stop because they did mention it clogging up the board when there are more important post. I'm just reading now for entertainment
Oh FFS...is it really too much to ask for people to pick up a fucking book?
FYI as pp have mentioned, you can tell the sex of the baby from the ultrasound, not the gender. Educate yourself

@leenziepops I think I'm the only person who gagged at your Mars pods picture. I hate the texture of candy bar chocolate. Love cake and ice cream and brownies but creamy chocolate is so gross!

Hehe we sure do eat roo. Its highly nutritious and very lean source of red meat. I had roo burgers last week. I do them well done because it's minced. Hopefully you get to try lamingtons and vegemite!

Actually, many great pregnancy books refer to the sex as gender... and so do doctors. I say, as long as you get the point, there's no reason to go bat shit on someone for saying gender as apposed to sex.

In fact, @deduva, if you hang around, you'll find that many of the theads with this many responses are gif parties and silliness. The major exception are loss posts. Those tend to get a lot of responses as we all want to support our fellow mom.
I'm seeing a lot of food comments and can I just say, my grocery store didn't have romaine hearts when I went shopping yesterday. DH and I have started eating salads pretty regularly and not being able to get romaine hearts is a real kick in the pants.
Also, on Friday I fond out the gender of my behbeh (or at least was given a pretty clear view of the relevant areas and allowed to reach my own conclusion because our u/s tech promotes snowflakes) I'm supposedly now 21w as baby was measuring ahead of the last u/s so I hope it doesn't decide to change!!
