Sunday randoms!

Re: Sunday randoms!

  • @Skrittens‌ it was delicious. Wish there would have been leftovers for today but I definitely ate all of mine.

  • Well, so much for putting the furniture together. We ended up having to run a bunch of errands (And DH was taking forever to get anything done) so we didn't start taking the dresser out of the box until later in the evening. And it's the wrong dresser and crib. So we had to call the store and we'll have to go in and exchange everything and it's this big ridiculous headache that I really don't feel like dealing with right now. But the pieces that we got just don't work in the room, we need the pieces that we originally wanted. So... there goes all of my plans for nesting tomorrow. Since I can't exactly put things away if I don't have a place to put them.
  • Oh man, we found out at lunch that MIL is going to have to stay away from LO for 30 days each time he has a live virus vaccine. We originally thought she just wouldn't be able to change diapers. This is a whole new ballgame. I have no idea how long the restriction will last. Cancer sucks, y'all. LO will still get his vaccines on time, but it breaks my heart that we will have to keep them apart.

I think there's only a couple live virus vaccines- one being rotavirus at 2 months and the other being MMR and chicken pox at 12 months. I could be wrong but hopefully you only have to worry about keeping them apart a couple times!
That makes me feel better! Hopefully she will be far enough out from her stem cell transplant (looking like late Spring/early summer) to not have a restricting by next March. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Definitely worth it all to keep her healthy.
  • Tip for all the PBK shoppers: if you are logged into the site and keep the items in your cart for 1-3 days, sometimes they will email you a discount code or free shipping offer!!

I do it all the time. Best trick!

For everyone who is feeling ill... I'm with you and it is SO not fun. I gag every time I cough :(
  • Does anyone else get nervous every time there's an update in the Facebook group? After the double "my water broke, baby is coming" posts last week, I am paranoid every day that someone else is going to deliver!

Me too! When I saw the second one I thought "oh shit, don't these things come in three's??" Makes me want to shout "not it!" Friday was when I hit the gestation that Owen was born, and I am so desperate to make it to 37w this time!
