    @heylittlediddle‌ -- We've been singing the ZYX's to our kids for 10 years. Amazingly, they don't seem too dain bramaged from it.

    Random: I have been taking taekwondo for almost a year. Hoping to keep going right up to June.

    I searched the board and didn't find anybody else mention that she does taekwondo. So I figured that made it pretty random!

    Ditto on the deep water thing. I don't even like our pond.

    My random is that I did a little nesting today. I was going to just scrub the kitchen floor, but then the walls were all nasty too (rental, didn't get cleaned well before we moved in). So I got a bunch done, and then my body was all "fuck lady, that's enough" in the form of BH contrax, so I quit.
    Now I'm watching a movie with my kiddos, who aren't watching the movie (because Legos).

    Today DH and I went to Buy Buy Baby and added a lot of stuff to our registry. Some of it was fun, and some of it was completely overwhelming, like the giant walls of bottles. We still have a ways to go, but I feel like we made progress today.

    Random: I have two degrees in music education, and while I can play a whole slew of instruments (some better than others), my major was the bassoon. I used to teach music in the public schools, but then life did its thing and took some unexpected turns, and now I work in a completely different field. So it's fun to casually mention "I was a bassoon major" every now and then in conversation.

    Late to this, but had a Maine accent until the age of 17 when we moved and everyone made fun of me for it so is dropped it in college by watching the nightly news and repeating the words. But if I cross the Maine border I can pick it up instantly.

    Oh and I can hypnotize a lobster and stand it on its head. Maine thing...

    @bruunk I am also TERRIFIED of deep water, I'm afraid of drowning and will literally panic. People think I'm strange because I was a national level competitive swimmer until about 5 years ago. Not afraid of sharks though and I love the ocean, the nursery is "under the sea"! I think that works for my random. Hubby is on night shift so me and my MIL are watching chick flicks!

    My random: In college, I made it to the final round of auditions for The Real World but I ended up removing myself from the audition process last minute. Would have been hilarious if I went through with it but thank God I didn't!

    My random is I collect elephants. I have soo many random elephant lamps trinkets etc. I even have a back tattoo of one.

    I totally get it. DH made dinner, but I was already hangry when he started so I was really annoyed with him. For no good reason.
