I don't know if it's from me freaking out about having a broken ankle or what but I think I may have lost my mucus plug already. I don't remember how it was with my son. I'm not due til March 21st. Anyone else lose theirs yet?

  • Sorry I'm new to this and I don't have much time to get on here. I was just looking for some support and answers. Thought maybe all the stress of having falling and breaking my ankle and having an anxiety attack today while having my cast changed and them telling my that I ruptured a tended and torn ligaments too. And now I'm not aloud to walk or put any weight on my leg until the baby is born I'm not aloud to work can't have surgery to fix it and I'm a single mother with a 2 yr old as well so I'm a little stessed out and was wondering if anyone else had every lost it this early and if stress and anxiety could cause dilation and loss of mucus plug. But obviously no one cares at all and isn't going to be of any help everyone is just being childish and saying ew. It's a normal thing during pregnancy. I thought this was a discussion forum. A place to discuss things but I guess I was wrong. But if you don't have any advice then please don't respond since I can't seem to delete this all together.
  • I counted 70 words without a lick of punctuation. Breathe, OP, it will help with the anxiety.
  • @aregula‌ Yeah, generic mucus plug post? I don't give a crappedy crap. An update on your broken leg situation with a request for support plus the mucus plug question? I'll be supportive. This time.

But this is a community where we give support in return to others. We're not just a bunch of generic internet support zombies waiting to hear people's sob stories and make them feel better. You can participate, or you can find another place to get your hugs & kisses.

  • Yeah I can't get past the horrible spelling and punctuation.

And like others said, you give support to get support. Probably should've gotten a feel for this board before posting. Good luck in your situation and yes losing your plug is normal and it regenerates throughout pregnancy. Call your dr if you're worried.
